Section Admiral Falkoner's grey greatcoat was lit by the constantly-updating holodisplay of this expansive system, ambient blue light accentuating her pale features and the red trim of her uniform. A set of binary stars were dimly masked in their sensor systems by a disruption field of vague Volarian nature, partitioned off by an asteroid ring that acted almost as a wall to the system's core. A second light ring adorned the space a tad further outwards, and barricaded in the center was a gem of this wild galaxy. Alpha Ceti V.
The system's outer rim was littered with various celestial bodies of note, but none as crucial as the terrestrial planet. Falkoner reached to her console, bringing up the fleet displays on the system map. Before her, well over a thousand tiny outlines of ships vastly brightened the display, causing her eyes to narrow momentarily. Solid blue outlines marked several hundred M
One Hour to Midnight: ICS and AtlantisThe large speaking halls of planet Daolsa's (Hope) largest city, were magnificent in the yellow sun's glow. Siqiz-Qaz, was built around the same time Daolsa, Praetor (Protector) and Yihamwu (Liberty) were founded. It is the capital of the Interstellar Covenanted States' colonial holding known as the Protectorate of Ancerious. The marble and gold speaking halls, not built to showcase the wealth of the republic, stood in the center of town. The large city, home to about fifteen hundred people and visited by twenty-thousand tourists a year, had no churches or places of worship. Inside the speaking halls, where the colony debated their political situations, the buzz of activity was reminiscent of days long ago on the home world millions of light years away.More Like This
The tradition of using speaking halls, dating back to five thousand years on planet Keosteyon, was brought to Daolsa in full swing. The modern speaking halls resembled a large theater, with a flat cathedral light front, and a rounded re
Belly Dancer - TGNorton flipped the channel up; nothing. He flipped the channel down; no better results. Undeterred he checked the menu for what would come on next, and then sighed. He wondered whether there were any good books in the house.More Like This
"God I wish something good was on TV," he muttered after a moment, and then blinked. He had the sudden sense of being watched.
"Something with belly dancing maybe?" asked a voice. He jumped a little, lifting a bowl of popcorn he couldn't remember getting in the process. A manicured hand dug itself into the bowl, lifting it to a perfectly formed and pouty lips. "Hold that for me, will ya?' she demanded around a mouthful of popcorn. "Wish detection is hungry work. And thirsty," she admitted.
There was a soda in his hand. She leaned forward to sip from it, granting an extent of cleavage in the process. He pulled his eyes away from that for a moment in order to take the intruder in. Full brown hair framed a delicate looking face in what looked to be an equally delicate
Beach Beauties Part 1 (Mermaid TF TG)The sun glistened off the waves of the ocean, as a young man relaxed on the beach. James was so happy to have a break from writing, and he was also glad that he was able to travel to such a nice place in America. This spot was perfect, and it was even better because his temporary lodgings were being provided by his good friend, Kimba! You see, James told Kimba he would be vacationing to an area near city. She told James that he could stay at her beachfront cabin for free, as she never used it all that much. The place was severely rundown, but he had no reason to complain about a free place to stay so he was fine with it. On his first day there, James relaxed on his beach-towel.More Like This
He heard the gentle waves brush against the shore as the gulls screeched. He was in paradise, he felt truly alive! The best part was that he had a large part of the beach to himself. Few people were there, due to a large fair being in town. James had just spend several days in his hometown chilling at the fair,
