Todays story starts as a normal morning in the suburbin area of Ponyville. The sun was rising and the kids were still sleeping.
*Tak* *Tak* Something was hitting the window of a certain girl's house. "....Huh?" Asks the girl. She looks around but doesn't see anything in her room.
Outside of the house Apple Bloom was throwing pebbles at the window with Sunmon sitting just besides her Book bag. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Asks Sunmon right before he gives a big yawn. "Of course, no teammate of mine is gonna slack off while i'm on the clock!" She says and throws a slightly bigger rock at the window and makes a small hole in it and lands in the Sweetie's bed.
She wakes up and sees this so she goes and opens the window. "Sweetie Belle get up!! You'r not gonna sleep in on mah watch!!" '...Uh, give me a few minutes! Wanna finish this up...!'
My stomach was growling, but I didn't care. I'd just found a shiny Pokémon after a lot of savescumming Pokémon X. Let alone, it was the one I wanted most, a shiny Ralts. Dinner could wait, I wanted me a Gardevoir. I glanced at the clock. It was 8:45. If I was gonna eat, it would probably have to be now. I thought about it, and eventually decided...to fold my 3DS and grab a quick bite to eat.
I wolfed down a burger in three and a half minutes and got back to the game. I looked for Trainers I hadn't already beaten. I had decided early on in the game that I wasn't using the Exp. Share, and was still abiding by it even now, so grinding was slow. Level 20 ticked by and my Maya (I called it Maya, not sure why...) I glanced at my clock probably a few minutes after. 9:45. My effort was paying off.

"This is Gabriel, reporting from the annual shoe shining tournament, the competition is really brushing on the heat, but lets check in with Carl in the newsbox." With that said, Gabriel's producer said cut and Gabriel would give a long depressive sigh. "You know this is not really what I hoped for when I got my journalism degree boss." Gabriel sighed. "Not my problem Gary, just do the assignment you were giving already." It was true however. When Gabriel earned his journalism degree three years ago he had hopes he would be sent on assignments that were hard hitting and interesting. He also wished he could cover better competition events like a sport or duel event, something like the animes he used to watch. All his old classmates all worked events that were above him and he was stuck watching guys shine shoes. The fact it also made them popular with the ladies, a reporter who was able to cover a huge world event like the Stanley cup, wrestlemania, or even for a nerdy guy like him - E3.

It was another breezy day as the wind brushed through everything. The trees. The grass. The brown hair from a passing young man.
The man is Gabriel. He was on an afternoon jog to keep his body fit and his mind sharp. Wanting sanctuary from the noisy city, he decided a route in a nearby forest. He was really enjoying himself as the breeze rejuvenated his constantly working body.
"Whew!" Exasperated Gabriel as he wiped some sweat. "I can't believe it's only been twenty minutes since running this trail. I certainly hope I get a better time record for track."
As he ran, he heard a sound. The sound rushing water. Looking to his right, he saw a river moving smoothly along the bottom of a slope. Another source of tranquility to distract him from his aching legs.
A few seconds later, something else distracted him. Near the edge of the river was some sort of a box. He ran over and crouched to get a better look. In fron
