This sassy Telvanni wizard is one of my favorite characters in Skyrim, just fyi. It's upsetting that Morrowind doesn't work properly on my computer and I can't go say hi to him in that game as well. :/
Geopolitacal map of the Great Houses of Morrowind at the end of the 3th area, in 3E427
Blue : Indoril House Red : Redoran House Brown : Telvanni House Yellow : Hlaalu House Green : Dres House Grey : Territory Under no Great House authority but directly under the Tribunal Temple authority (or maybe Dagoth House ?? ^^)
For the non-playable territory i used informations on lore-books, official/fan maps available on the net, and a small part of imaginantion and reflexion ^^
Personal creation/reflexion :
Shad Telvanni : a Telvanni mage academy Tel Oad : just Telvanni Tower in order to populate the Telvanni Ilses Tel Enamor : just another Telvanni Tower (more important that Tel Oad) in order to populate the Telvanni Ilses Shrine of Boethia : I set it in the region i called Boethian Mountain on my other maps Shrine of Mephala : I set it in the region i called Mephala's Mountain on my other maps Arnesia : no mention on official maps but we can read of it in in-game lore books. Arnesia is a region constantly in war with the Argonian of black march. so i "created a town called Arnsia in what i think this region is ^^ Ald'Mora : Just a litle town at the border of Morrowind an Black Marsh in order to populate the Dres Territory
He wanted his Argonian Noga to be in Vivec City while dunmer watched and steamed as a "beast" walked among the cantons of the city. I really need to look at the city more often. Nothing beats the call of a silt strider.
Fan art for TES V: Skyrim and TES III: Morrowind (a cross-over, in a way).
Young Adril and Cindiri Arano, back in Morrowind. A.k.a Norroen-thinks-guar-are-cute-and-needed-an-excuse-to-draw-one. I ship these two like you wouldn't believe - despite the fact that they are already married in-game.
In Thud, Vimes has a near-death experience; therefore, Death has a near-Vimes experience (but don't mind him, he brought a book). I drew this in Corel Painter with white 'chalk' on a black background (like Death's house), I like the effect a lot...
My Skyrim Character as he appears in Bethesda's amazing RPG. Turns out he's a were-Agorian, which strikes me as funny. He can change from Reptile to Mammal, who'd have thought that? ^^
Great game, great gameplay, I had lots of fun spending all those hours in the northern province of Tamriel. I do have some weak points I need to address though:
-The main-story, albeit very well-written seems to be rather short and does not live up to the gravity Alduin's prophecy has. The Dark Brotherhood quest for example felt much grander, somehow.
-A moral system. Sure you get points for charming or intimidation, but you can not convince certain people to change their opinion. Maybe take a small clue from Bioware there, Bethesda?
-My main-gripe however is that the NPC's, except for guards, never change their attitude towards you, no matter what you do. They still treat you like the worn-down traveler, despite the fact that you become the biggest badass to walk around. My favourite moment had to be the Thalmor who waited at the end of one dungeon, blabbering something about how he'd take the artifact away from me now. No surprise he got his head cut off in one strike the next second.
So yeah, great game, with a few flaws.
It's been a couple of days again, not the way I planned this, but I am trying to improve my work-habit and upload new things more frequently from now on.
I really tried to put in a sweat-breaking effort with this one and develop my abilities some more, really pushing the envelope.
About: Mech. HB Pencil on paper PS CS4 Wacom Cintiq ~30hrs, working on and off. Trying to improve to get done faster.
As promised in my poll, here's my version of the Dragon Priest from Skyrim. I've been studying some traditional oil and pastel techniques and artists, and I believe the results will appear in my next works!
Can you guess which one is he? It was kinda easier when I started, but then I thought the dessaturated palette would fit more the Dragon Priest's mood.
As usual, completely done in Painter 12. I don't do any pencil sketch for now because I have no scanner. Oops.
Helloooo, long time no see, I'm here to present you a piece of work which I'm sure I'll hate after a month or so anyway I felt a little nostalgic and drew some Elder Scrolls! Davyn Shashmassamsi is my old Dunmer OC.
Gah, okay so, I'm not happy with this outcome of this one...drew it about 10 days ago and figured I cant let it sit around forever.
In the beginning stages of drawing this I was thinking, hey this is gonna be fun, because I haven't drawn a koopaling in about 3 years. So I was thrilled to do another Super Mario fanart piece for old times sake. Buuuut looking at it (and it couuuld be just me, cause' you know I have a habit of being hard on myself sometimes) I just feel its not super exciting and I probably could have done better. I pretty much had an off day I guess...come to think of it- the day after I drew it I started getting a cold. But hey, we all kinda have one of those days, yeah?
But anyway, enough negativity! Sorry. So....here's an upload for you guys since I postponed one for last week and so I can only hope you'll enjoy it, regardless. :^) I think I should do another SMB scene in the future to make up for, uh...this. Heh!
This is a version of Samus suit I designed for a small short film project back in 2007. I have no idea what happened to that project...
I do have another Samus' suit version that I was working on for a while... But I decided to post this one now. It was not fully finished. But you can see the line work and the color study on it without any problem.
This suit's concept was to be still a powered suit. But something you can wear as opposed to the earlier one I did which was more of a powered suit with extended limbs.
From left to right... -Base: I was going to take off the outer armors on the left side to show what's inside... I wanted to add an artificial muscled suit in between Samus' "Zero Suit" and the outer armored suit
-Original: This was the most basic form of the suit. Trying to mimic very original Metroid version of the suit.
-Powered up version: Well... Mainly her shoulder pod's. Original version's shoulder shield pads are design to fold and combine with this new power unit.
-Heavy Armor version: Like the name says, it's an add on unit for giving Samus maximum power. Notice the stabilizer anchor unit on the back side of her leg. My concept was for that to unfold and "anchor" Samus on a surface for her to launch her mega cannon.
-Combination: Somewhere between the original and the heavy armored version of her suit. Also this shape resembled the most recent design from the game.
-Back 3/4 view: I never finished this sketch... But you get the idea.
I wanted to keep the design relatively simple instead of making it unnecessarily complicated on parts. Maybe I made it too simple.
*Edit: About the bulky nature of the design (especially shoulder pods)... Yup. I am well aware of that. I applied same kind of thinking I had on the very first Samus fanart I posted. I understand that those huge pods mainly came about in order to make her silhouette distinct enough during the pixel sprite era. But I have to admit that it did become sort of trademark look for her armor. Although I do think I went too far with the size a bit, I did want to emphasize it.
One thing I do regret a lot is that I think my direction to make the overall design direction to be on the bulky and "masculine" side was a wrong direction. If I get to do another one of these, I think I am going to go for more elegant and much more feminine approach...
I'd been meaning to do art of Metroid for quite a while, and I had a free day, so why not?
The intergalactic Bounty Hunter (who does more galaxy saving then actual bounty hunting) versus Leader of the Space-Pirates (who do more intergalactic conquest then actual pirating) in the DEPTHS OF NORFAIR AAHHHHH
I love this series so much.

Something pulled at the hem of my cloak; and as I turned, thinking to find the elegant cashmere snagged on the remains of a paling, I found that I, too, had been accosted by a lady desperate for food. A very little lady. . . There, on the pavement, almost indistinguishable against the dirty snow, a cream kitten sat with the claws of her chocolate-coloured paws entangled in the material. ~ Susan Kay's Phantom, page 298
Remember that picture that I did when I was just starting with the computer art? www.deviantart.com/deviation/3… No, probably not... It was rather badly done, and even a bit creepy looking. Anyway, I decided to try again, this time in the form of a photo-manip. Tell me what you think!
God damn, that took forever. XD DRAGONS ARE REALLY HARD TO DRAW GOD DAMN IT.
Soo, this is my Skyrim Nord OC, Ragnhild (I really love that I can pick Norwegian names for my characters, and have it be really in character for nords XDDD) and Odahviing.
When I first met Odahviing in the game, I nearly shat my pants and was like "OMG, PLEASE BE MY DRAGON AFTER I BEAT ALDUIN. PLEASE." And wouldnt you know.. XD My mind went straight to HTTYD. HTTYD SKYRIM STYLE. So I had to draw this. dfjsfnsdf Donno how many times he's saved my butt by now... XD HE'S AWESOME.
This is Nimue. She's only just started out, so I don't have a fancy story for her yet. She's loosely inspired by Bernard Cornwell's "Lady of the Lake" character in The Winter King. Fanart of a custom video game character, based off a novel, based off a legend. Yeah, I totally went there.
This character (again Breton. Duh. What else could a 'Nimue' be?), is almost strictly magic. Tricky, that. I'm gonna start poking around taverns where I can hire a human meat-shield. My tender mage body can't handle dragon attacks.
I plan to eventually take her to Markarth and investigate all those Foresworn shenanigans. That's one part of Skyrim plot that I have somehow managed to avoid entirely. (No spoilers, OMG.) Plus, Dwemer stuff is fascinating. Makes me yearn for Morrowind... -------------- Custom PC character from Bethesda's Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Photoshop, tablet. A few hours. Used fractal brushes from [link] by ~above-and-beyond. And, `hibbary's homemade paper textures! [link] .
Here's a particularly awesome screencap, a semi-sequel to my previous one: [link]. But this is no mere battle, but an interesting ecological phenomenon. Let's look at some trivia:
1. Solstheim is sacred to Hircine; he manifests there at the end of each era to enact the Bloodmoon Prophecy. 2. The island is inhabited by packs of both werewolves and werebears, two versions of "lycanthropes" given power by Hircine. 3. Werebears seem to be stronger than werewolves of comparable level. Hjordis of Frostmoon Crag says her pack was wiped out by werebears. This implies that werewolves and werebears compete with one another. Whether this is for food, territory, or lolz is unknown. However, even when outnumbered, the werebears seem to win. 4. In real life ecology, wolves and bears interact only rarely, much less actually fight. Bears do usually win these confrontations, though it is not unheard of for a wolf pack to bring down a lone grizzly bear. 5. Shelob won this fight, because the laws of nature do not apply to the Dragonborn.
Taken in Skyrim, edited in GIMP. It actually took longer to write that description than to edit the screencap, so now you know what I do when I have an hour or two to spare on weekdays.
