it's okay to fall in love.
i mean, they tell you you're never going
to marry your high school sweetheart and i'm not going
to tell you it's a lie
because it's not. you guys will probably
break up and is gonna hurt like hell
but you'll be okay. remember, you are not the only one
who has felt loneliness like a knife,
the only one to know the pain of lungs collapsing
because they were your air,
and you will never be the only one who whispered
"i love you" two lives too soon.
you will not be the last one to have tucked
hair behind their ear and leaned in for a kiss
or the last one to wake up reaching for a hand that's no longer there.
but it's okay.
your favorite book will not always be your favorite.
like you, it will change over time
to something unrecognizable
that gives you only a vague nostalgia in the tips of your fingers.
flipping through the pages will never
feel the same again.
you will learn to love something new;
your next favorite will teach you something about you

CollaborationMore Like This
For a couple years I have really wanted to get into doing collaborations but always got sidetracked or plans fell through.so last week when out of the blue, :iconstyrenerobot: dropped me a note with the suggestion we should combine forces for a build, I was instantly on-board. Behind the scenes so to say, we have been cooking up plans and bouncing around ideas. For this collaborative scale model project, I will be doing the ktibashing/building of the model, and he will do the painting. :iconstretchtagger: has agreed to whip us up come concept sketches to help inspire us. Anyways our rough plans are to build/paint some sort post-apocalyptic or sci-fi industrial vehicle. scratch built front cab,Crane arm, resin aftermarket, custom figurines, robotic sample arms, oxygen tanks, loot, ohhhh we have ideas let me tell you,But it all has to start somewhere. For this build, I will be using an older model of mine for the base/hull/bits: the high speed tractor (mighty monster)
Rant about my stupid selfMore Like This
I would like to explain.
Recently I've been going through a lot of art-related stress, which I brought upon myself all on my own.
Starting since the new year I was mostly focused on catching up on commissions, which was actually a constant state for about half of the year. Non-stop fight with the delay, which I couldn't help but kept struggling. There is no way for me to give up or take a break because this is simply my job.
In no way I mean to discourage you from ordering drawings from me, because if I took a break from commissions, I would also have to take a break from eating and paying bills.
What I failed to notice is that I was responsible for my own disability to "catch up". What constantly keeps me distracted is my obsessive and almost insane level of self-criticism, which tells me to constantly keep working towards the undefined "becoming a better artist".
Don't get me wrong, self-criticism is very important and it keeps us away
