Chapter 3: Hatchling
“Come on Jamey, time to get up!” the dragoness called as she rounded the corner. Stopping by the giant stairwell she waited for the sounds of tiny feet scrabbling against the stone, signaling that the soul above had awoken. Technically, it was only late sunup in the game, and usually she wouldn’t be worried about that. But right now the sun was on its third cycle, meaning that in real-time it was sunup as well.
Emily, her player hadn’t logged on at all today and the white dragoness was getting restless, having already done what she needed to do earlier that day. There would be no questing until the next third sun-cycle, when the player would most likely come back. In absence of the player, the dragoness had thought to let him sleep in a little. But now, said person was still asleep and had been for almost five sun-cycles—which was fine, in her opinion; this tiny break of peace and quiet was ver

"What're we doing here!?" Ralph asks Sweeper, demanding a reason for coming to the Console Wing, "Shouldn't we be going after Turbo?"
"Listen Wreck-It Ralph," Sweeper begins, "If we're going to go after Turbo; we need to face him on his turf."
"Oh! I get it! Beat him at his own game!"
"Now you're catching on. So let's not waste any more time."
"So lemme guess, you have this super fast Sweeper-Mobile and we'll catch up to him no problem!" Ralph asks, pounding his fist on his palm. Sweeper didn't respond other than giving Ralph a face that literally said, 'You have got to be kidding me'.

The Kingdom of Sugar Rush was a dull shade of its former self, with the "Under Maintenance" sign eclipsing the light, and clouding the once color and candy filled land in a shroud of grey. The Kart Bakery remained unchanged though. Beard Papa, overall manager and master kart baker, is once again having a comfortable nap in his booth at the entrance of the big factory sized bakery, even in its now gloomy state. He wakes from his slumber at the sudden sound of banging outside the booth.
"WAKE UP!!!" yells a voice from the outside.
"WHA-Wha!?!" mumbles out Beard Papa as he suddenly awakes. He then peeks out of the booth.
He then sees Vanellope, who had her hood up over her head and goggles on over her eyes.
"Princ-- I mean... President Vanellope? What can I --"
"Enough of the small talk, I need a new Kart. NOW!" She demanded
"But... Don't you already have a --" before Beard Papa could finish his sentence, Vanellope interrupts him by holding up a piece
Harmony In MayThe hallway was a whirlwind of chaos as students chatted with friends, lockers banged loudly, and books were pulled out, shoved to the bottom of bags. I tried to block out the noise as I twisted and turned the knob on my own locker, referring to a piece of paper once and a while to get the combination correct. It was dirty and as banged up as any of the others yet it seemed to be different, more isolated. I was stuck in my own corner of the harshly lit hallway, away from all the clusters of friends. I kept my head ducked down, my hair a dark halo around my face. It was bad enough being the new student but to be stuck a transfer in the middle of the year was even worse.More Like This
“Please welcome our new student, Miss Harmony” I clasped my hands tightly in my lap not daring to look up. Snickers echoed through the class room as the teacher announced my name. I could feel everyone’s stares on me and it was making me extremely uncomfortable. Self-consciously I brushed hair away from
