Situated in Cornwall St Nectans Glen is considered to be a very spiritual place and a place of great meaning to both Pagans and Christians and where the presence of the earth Goddess (Gaia, divine mother, or female aspect of nature), is greatly enlivened.
The sacred site at Saint Nectan’s Glen is where the River Trevillet has carved its way through Late Devonian slate and created a magnificent 60 foot (approx.) waterfall and then punched a hole through the original kieve (basin) where the water now cascades into a beautiful valley.

Cascades on Glen Leigh, Ricketts Glen State Park, PA

This is a brand new image. I have been traveling and shooting quite a bit as of late and have had little time to post. I am planning on sharing some new work this week before once again leaving on an extended trip to the Pacific Northwest.

Enjoy and thanks for having a look!

I have used 400 mm lense here to capture this scene , from Lago Grey ( torres del paine - Chile - Patagonia ) , I was waiting to get an interesting light to compliment these peaks , in addition with a dark foreground sky .

If one ever needed convincing that mother nature is an artist, a trip to Upper Antelope Canyon would suffice. It's hard to imagine that this slot canyon has been sculpted by only wind, water, sand and time. When experiencing this place in person, I thought to myself that a team of master sculptors with access to all the tools and artificial lighting they needed could not create something so beautiful.

I thank all for kind comments on Cool Autumn. When I got to the water, the sun had not gotten high enough to show on the trees and give me that lovely contrast and warmth yet. I still thought this was a cool shot, but was glad for patience!

This atmosphere was worth getting up also on feast by 5 o´clock in the morning. What a mood to start Father's Day .
As the sun was rising I already wanted to leave the location as suddenly this sick light emerged. The time window was only extremely short and I even had to give up my portrait, as the sun disappeared immediately behind the thick clouds.

WOW!! What a perfect night for stars!!!

This was taken this morning around 3:30am in Banff, AB! I was delighted with a small meteor show. One happened to sneak into this pano! As well as some faint Aurora glow to the north!

A very, very wide view of this extravagantly beautiful waterfall. Multiple shifted shots merged, creating something to the effect of a 150 mp mosaic. Amazingly, I didn't have to fix anything with respect to the water not lining up, etc.

On a different note, bringing a technical camera here is a very bad idea. . . the focusing/workflow is so slow, it's almost impossible to shoot without getting water on the lens. It's very, very tedious, while shooting this with a DSLR would have been rather simple.

At night, a light, the soul of the cat, leaks from those eyes. The fire, she glows.

While I should be studying thermodynamics, the anticipation of a summer of photography reminded me of a photo I had forgotten to develop. This is an arch hidden in Canyonlands that I have to visit every time I am in the region. To shoot this, one must be a contortionist of world renown. Or they could be like me and be sore for a week after.

The Arizona desert is a great place to explore. The flora and fauna are entirely different than what I'm used to living at higher elevations. I thought the Teddy Bear Cholla (foreground) and Saguaro (the tall one) cactus were the coolest.

I painfully learned why they call the Teddy Bear Cholla the "jumping cactus". They don't actually move, but the barbed and spiny exterior are easily picked up if brushed against. Cowboys riding through the Sonoran Desert had to start wearing thick leather chaps despite the incredible heat to avoid the wrath of the jumping cactus.

This was taken in Lost Dutchman State Park outside of Phoenix, thanks to a tip from :iconpeterjcoskun:. If you want to see more desert imagery I suggest you drop by his page, he's captured some great light.

I have a vertical version of this scene uploaded here already, but I thought I would post the horizontal version as well. What the vertical doesn't show well, is the source of light. I was able to blend two exposures together to bring out the most of the amazing light that I witnessed this evening. This resulted in a fairly fine band of light streaking across the landscape and painting the ridge on the left. It was one of the most amazing light shows I have seen, and was fortunate to view this scene with just a few other photographers who I was camping with.

COLORS OF THE SEYCHELLES

Reddish granite stones, turquoise and blue water, green tropical coastal vegetation and a warm colored atmosphere after sunset. This is how you can picture the colors of the Seychelles. I tried to compose a harmonious photo with the mixed up rocks in the foreground and the wild coastal strip in the background.
If you take a closer look you can even spot the crabs on the rocks :-).

SEYCHELLES ROCK - Seychelles 2013

Propably on of the most famous rocks on the Seychelles. Still without no name but we landscape photographer are probably able to make this very special rock famous :-). For this moment - easy to remember I call this one "Seychelles Rock".

On the beautiful Source D´Argent it´s already located on a beach hundreds of tourists pass by day by day. With a mystic light like I was able to witness, it´s an even more special moment catching the spirit of the Seychelles.

The Borrowed Forenoons (2012)

Chciałem, zachowując klasyczną kompozycję, wyróżnić magię światła, obmywającego szczyty niemal w kontrze do obiektywu.
