I took a trip to the bridge with my cousin at 2am just for the hell of it!
This shot was quite dangerous to get, I had to climb over the railing and balance myself on a 2ft wide ledge while balancing my camera on a pole sticking out of the water below. One wrong move and my camera as well as myself would have plunged into the ice cold water waiting below my icy perch. The things I do for photography!

Der Reichstag / The Reichstag

I love that building it is so huge *_*
There is written "To the German people"

I  BERLIN     Du bist so wunderbar, Berlin Berlin <3

Some information :

The Reichstag building (GermanReichstagsgebäude) is a historical edifice in BerlinGermany, constructed to house the Imperial Diet  of theGerman Empire. It was opened in 1894 and housed the Diet until 1933, when it was severely damaged in a fire. After World War II, the building fell into disuse; the parliament of the German Democratic Republic (the Volkskammer) met in the Palast der Republik in East Berlin, while the parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany (the Bundestag) met in the Bundeshaus in Bonn.

The ruined building was made safe against the elements and partially refurbished in the 1960s, but no attempt at full restoration was made until after German reunification on 3 October 1990, when it underwent a reconstruction led by architect Norman Foster. After its completion in 1999, it once again became the meeting place of the German parliament: the modern Bundestag.

The term Reichstag, when used to connote a diet, dates back to the Holy Roman Empire. The building was built for the Diet of the German Empire, which was succeeded by the Reichstag of the Weimar Republic. The latter would become the Reichstag of Nazi Germany, which left the building (and ceased to act as a parliament) after the 1933 fire and never returned; the term Reichstag has not been used by German parliaments since World War II. In today's usage, the German word Reichstag refers mainly to the building, while Bundestag (Federal Diet) refers to the institution.

Bata means a young boy or girl. I did a photo shoot that time when this boy was always watching me. So i called him and asked if he wanted to have a photo. He smiled and jumped into the bamboo bridge.
I asked him again "OK look at me" then i got the shot :)

I wanted to upload this picture as a deviantART webcam and showed it to Mona, but she demanded to have it submitted, so I had to obey to her! :smooch:

:star: Note: the stripes are NOT digitally added! The film was slightly deteriorated and it got fixed by the lab with some adhesive tape, which gave this effect when scanned!

I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Sydney. My partner and myself spent a week down south exploring the city and then made our way out to the Blue Mountains for a couple nights before making our way back home from our holiday. Here's the first shot from my Sydney series... Hope you enjoy!
