5 . BLACKOUT
"Ugh," I groaned, opening my eyes. The first thing I saw was Annabeth's pretty, gray eyes.
"Hey there, Seaweed Brains," she smiled, lovingly, stroking my hair. I was utterly confused, but hey, she's my best friend. I got up slowly, propping myself up with one hand.
"Hey Annabeth."
She looked a little sad, as if she'd been silently keeping in tears from me.
"Hey," I said, "what's wrong." I wasn't going to back down now, she's been keeping a secret from me.
"Nothing," she said, trying to sound convincing. It wasn't working. I heard a low chuckle, and spun around.
