Embroidery Commision InformationAlright, I had a giant thing typed up, but DA froze, and I lost all my typing. So this is going to be short and to the point because I don't feel like typing that all again.More Like This
Very long story short, I have too many things in my queue because I don't charge enough for them. I only charge actual materials, and only when purchased. Well, I need to cut down on the number of requests and weed out those requests that are wasting my time. About 90% of the time, the requestor doesn't purchase the patch I made just for them, and that is a waste of both my time, and everyone else in queue who really wants something for a con or something. To solve for this, I am going to start charging for commissions of embroidered patches and such. As always, once I actually break even, all proceeds will be donated to the Childs Play charity.

Here's a collection of links to sites outside of DeviantArt where you can find free plushie patterns. There are well over two hundred choices, so you're sure to find something you like.
Remember, if you can't find exactly what you're looking for, try adapting one of the patterns. For example, a tiger can easily be turned into a lion, an elephant into a wooly mammoth, an elf into a goblin, or combine the upper half of a mermaid with the lower half of a pony to get a centaur.

Ever since I posted Wolf Link and Midna I've been getting an influx of messages asking me to teach, reveal my secrets, take people under my wing, and so on. The sad thing is I can't spend all that much time one on one with everybody asking me to teach them. So I've decided to put together this massive block of text, relating some of my personal experience in plush making and listing off all my resources at the bottom. This will cover the very basics of plush and pattern making so if you are completely new to plush making this is for you, if you're not and you're just looking for resources skip to the bottom. I hope this will be helpful to someone!
First off, the reality. The big secret. The key to becoming a good plush artist is...
I can already feel the glares and exasperation but hear me out first.
One thing I've noticed with a lot of the messages I got were that a lot of people were scared of screwing up.
