To where the wind will take youYou left the room, as did the breezeMore Like This
I was shocked at your reaction; this was certainly new
I watched YOU move with such grace.
You went to where the wind will take you.
I thought how to retrieve you
I could still spy you in view
If I were to run, a chase would soon ensue
And so, I let the wind steal you.
The air was light, quite fair and sweet
There was nothing a vagabond such as I could do
Just the casual sight of you in the area was a treat
"Go to where the wind takes you"
By now I had bound off my seat
I bolted out of my abode on cue
And then fear, a settle I couldn't beat
So I tried to run to where the wind will take you
By the time I had run far enough
I had found you hiding at a burned down school
I opened my arms, out of breath, a bluff
"I came here, I ran to you"
For a second you were lost, forlorn
This was your place, and I am to be the fool
And you smiled I could've sworn
Because you found the place to where the wind will take you
'Thugs and criminals'Some people, even some people we all know and love here on the Deviantarts, have described some recent events as "criminals" and "thugs" getting what they "deserve." They refer, of course, to the widely discussed issue of American police repeatedly killing black men.More Like This
Let's look at some of these "criminals" and what they did to "deserve" being shot to death, shall we?
-Trayvon Martin was unarmed, had no history of violence, and was walking home with snacks. We have no evidence that he threatened or harmed George Zimmerman except for Zimmerman's own claims, which occured after Zimmerman defied 911 operators and continued to stalk and harass this boy he did not know, who exhibited no criminal activity. Zimmerman, meanwhile, has a history of violence and domestic abuse, including threatening an ex wife with a gun.
-No evidence demonstrates that Mike Brown commited a crime.
