I woke up underneath the Doctor. He was holding me close to him. My nose tickled, my eyes were almost aligned, and most importantly, my hand was intertwined with the Doctor's. He was warm and my eyes were barely open and only open enough to see his shirt unbuttoned a bit and I saw his chest. I opened my eyes a bit more and I saw his tie hanging off his neck, and then I see his face. I look at him and smile. He smiles back at me, I start thinking about why he's so protective, then it hit me, he's lost people he didn't even love intimately and still cried, so think if I got hurt, someone he does love intimately, he would die inside. He already lost his wife, he shouldn't lose more. I'll have to run away, so I don't have to hurt him by breaking his heart.
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at the strange look he gave me. I held his hand tighter. My head started pounding, I let go of his hand and gripped my head, he looked at my worried,id at the door. Should I run?
