Dib bit down firmly on his lip before shakily stepping forward and pulling him slowly up the creaky stairs. Since it was dark, he squinted his eyes in an attempt to see a bit clearer in the small amount of light that he had. As he slowly made his way up the stairs, whispering the Irken’s name in an attempt to draw him out from his hiding place. In a situation such as this, Dib preferred to know where Zim was rather than him be out of sight with the possibility of a surprise attack.
After a minute of crawling painfully slow up the stairs, he finally made it to the top with the sight of the illuminated room at the end of

Zim quickly looked up and saw Gir smiling at him. “Uhh... Something wrong, GIR?” he asked and stood up, brushing the dust that came from the floor off his cape.
“Miyuki gave me the orders to keep an eye on you, sir," GIR said, and his eyes glowed red.
“Stupid duty mode," Zim mumbled and looked at GIR. "GIR! If you want to protect Zim...ehh... make Zim some waffles!” he ordered, hoping the SIR would leave him alone .

As Dib had made his way into the house and up to his room, the lingering smell of day old blood hit him. It wasn’t quite as harsh and foul as the pile of junk found in Zim’s closet. People went from being distasteful and scowling at him, to almost frightened and concerned for the boy. He'd been progressing so quickly to lunacy lately that some people believed it was time he saw someone about it.

Little Contest?Hey guys! I know this group has been a bit quiet due to the fact that we have been busy and chapters are coming out only a couple times a week, but I want to keep it alive! So here is what I proposed to ~IrkenInvaderMaz; A contest for a group icon!More Like This
I am not sure of what the prizes will be quite yet, but I know that they may involve points. But there will be drawing prizes for sure!
So here are some rules/requests.
-Please keep it related to "IB". You can do whatever you want! But make sure it correlates to the story.
-Use effort! I don't want little doodles and then you say "bam entry!" Please use effort. :3 Traditional art is acceptable as long as effort is used! In fact, I welcome traditional art. <3
-The creepier the better! Though, humorous ones are welcome too!
-Have fun and be creative!
So if enough people are interested, I will speak to Maz about prizes and will post them on a later date. :3
Cheers!

Alfred slowly opened his eyes and blinked a few times to clear the fuzziness. He thought it was strange that the ceiling was made out what looked like tree branches, instead of the thick logs his father had secured with great care. And while he was thinking of that, why was the ceiling so low?
He sat up quickly and was assaulted by cold winter air. That's when everything that had happened came rushing back. Getting captured by Indians, becoming friends with _____, getting captured again, this time with others, the kids escaping, and then... Scourge the Hedgehog: Lock Down pt 3'A few days ago, my girl Fiona got herself arrested along with the rest of the Destructix team. They were going to bust me out of the Zone Jail. Except i've been on the bottom of the food chain since I got here. A gang showing up to rescue me would certainly tick off all the wrong people. So..I was less than charitable to their offer. But Fiona's right--if im going to bust out, I need back up or im screwed. Yesterday, I managed to get Sgt. Simian and Predator Hawk to sign on. So two down...two to go.' Upon realizing there was no sign of the Irken even making an attempt to get into his house, Dib felt it were safer to be in there now than outside so he rushed towards it in quite a hurry. Once he had burst in the door, he slammed it furiously behind him and turned to lock the door for an extra sense of security. Hopefully Gaz had a key to the house so she wouldn't bother him with her obnoxious banging as she did quite often.
After locking the door, Dib turned his back to it and leaned against it, closing his eyes and taking deep breaths in an attempt to calm himself after all of the stress he had endured that day. Unfortunate

Zim took agonizingly slow steps to him, the laughing dying down to weak 'e' sounds of an eerie laugh. He stopped when he had reached him, eyes turning wild almost instantly. Resolve came in the form of first sunlight beaming through the shattered hole that was at one point a window. It immediately melted away the shadows and extinguished the coolness that the night had brought. Everything was completely visible now and revealed to the paranoid human.
However, even after the sun had come up, Dib took a while to convince himself that there wasn't actually anything there, and that it had all just been a crazy delusion in his head. After several more minutes of watching everything around him, he had finally convinced himself that he was alone now, which actually relaxed him and made him realize how tire

As Dib had made his way into the house and up to his room, the lingering smell of day old blood hit him. It wasn’t quite as harsh and foul as the pile of junk found in Zim’s closet. Morning came early for the traumatized boy, his alarm blaring loudly in his ear that morning. It was another school day, but would he dare even risk it? The answer was an obvious no as he slammed the top of his blaring alarm with a tight fist, then covered himself back in his blankets. After lying there for several minutes to think over his situation, he considered that maybe some human interaction would help clear his mind... Maybe someone would finally talk to him.
That was a shot in the dark though when it was really considered. What would make today any different from the others to the point someone would speak to him?
