A little sneak peak of one of the illustrations i've been working on, to show to the Sealed Hearts readers that I have not neglected it.
I am working on a "Prequel" story of Sealed Hearts: Creation. I will do this before I go over to Sealed Hearts so I can have a bit of practice on the illustration technique and style.
I have decided to make a "Flash Comic" to tell my stories, but more in the fashion of a storybook with illustration rather than comic. I am not done yet and I hope to release the first chapter around this summer (hopefully!). This story will be short.
Nightfell's char trade finally done, in the taste of that done for Rarakie, as requested. [link] I enjoyed doing this one and dearly hope its close to what ya pictured! Still not fully satisfied with the flames but I owe significant thanks to windancer's awesome fire tutorial ([link]), else it would've looked like I didn't even try
Dedication for Tassy, the immensely talented artress who's taken the time to comment every lil chance she got . So just showing a little thanks so she know I haven't forgotten! Her art is sooo pretty! Content with this result, but fearing I may have somewhat lost my style... Espero que te guste mi hermana! Yeeaah, I'm 1/2 Columbian, so we're sistas! (kinda ) I thank Xcelestex for hooking me on dedicating and pet naming
I will find him and name him Steve the Velociraptor and when people ask 'hey how did you get a Velociraptor' I will say 'you should not be concerned about that right now' because steve will be eating them and we will be a happy family him and I.
.....something I drew before starting hours of animatic homework. Probably shouldn't have waited until midnight.
This beautiful Sheet features my character Nidawi, which is my Alter-Ego.
I got this as a birthday present from , , and Chris... I guess you still remember how happy you all made me back then. Some gifts do not lose their power to make you happy again and again... and this one does so in a way I can't describe. I'm not able to thank you enough for this, I tried, but I've got the feeling that these words I searched for weren't good enough.
From my point of view Peo did an outstanding job and created something that got very dear to me. I love your work, I really do. Here I want to say "thank you" again like I did before... you made my day (and yesterday you did it again, a note will follow when I find time to write my thoughts down).
Another quick painting from last night but returning a bit to a more familiar subject, just with a fresh approach. The lighting isn't perfect I don't think but I wasn't aiming for perfection, just a more pronounced mood than is usual for my work. All done in ps, start to finish, no sketching for the snowy, just straight painting.
tools: PS cs2, wacom Bamboo Size: 1300x2000 at 200dpi time: 3-4 hours Prints: same as with my other speedpaints, if requested C:
My second contribution to the unique project entitled Endangered Ark, a fantastic playing card deck featuring a variety of the world's endangered animal species and for a wonderful cause as well! 10% of all proceeds raised from card deck sales will be contributed to the World Wildlife Fund and the World Parrot Trust. This collectors art deck features 52 endangered species from 20 different talented artists.
Presales are still occuring now but for how much longer presale decks will be available, I cannot say. So place your order today!
This is actually an unfinished piece from...oooh looks like November of 2007. I have had various personal and health issues that have been keeping me fairly tied up and so there are a good few pieces sitting unfinished on my pc. This was one I suddenly felt the need to finish and I am happy I did so as I think it lit a well needed fire in me...or at least a flame anyway.
Thank you to all those that continue to follow this account and to give your valuable time to stop by and look at my work. You remind me why I should continue to share and create this work..
(The character depicted is my liger self/totem etc, though her features have shifted to become more Tigonish in nature.)
