A Poem for the DamnedWhen it spills onto the surface,More Like This
Do me a favour would you please.
Wrap me in your precious arms,
Help me calm down, Help me breath.
Like the cold shadow of a spider,
Crawling up my tightened spine.
Invisible ropes around my chest,
Deep breathes are hard to find.
This plague of fear and panic,
It bubbles up towards my throat.
There's no use fighting as it always wins,
I just try and not to choke.
Just try to stay above the surface,
Not to drown beneath the waves.
That bash and batter overhead,
I must be stronger, I must be brave.
Some days are simply tougher,
They don't come easy like the rest.
Some days courage can't be found,
Even when you try your best.
