This slowly tilting and sinking wreck is near the other one seen in All Aboard.
I've been monitoring it's "progress" for couple years now and I'm guessing it doesn't take long untill it flips over or goes under...

I've always wondered about social classes in society, like the 'rich' , 'middle class' and 'poor'. Why are there even such rankings u.u But I think some people don't mind where they stand in life, as long as their happy ~

Or have the misconstrued idea that money = happiness, so they go to pursuit that...

But, I digress ;]

SO cool Love the little cave looking holes everywhere in the glaciers,
called Cryoconite
Glacier National Park Alaska USA
How's that for a nice close up :giggle:

:iconblinkthanksfavplz:
Cryoconite holes are a water filled cylindrical melt-holes on glacial ice surface.
It has been reported from glaciers in many parts of the world: Arctic, Antarctic, Greenland, Canada, Tibet, and Himalayas.
(Willem and Els 1994, Wharton et al.1981, Wharton et al. 1985, Gribbon 1979, Kohshima 1989, Kohshima 1987b).
At bottom of the cryoconite holes, dark colored material called cryoconite is deposited.
As the cryoconite absorbs solar radiation and promotes melting of the ice beneath it, the cylindrical holes are formed (see above).
Cryoconite holes have been suggested to play important roles in the glacier ecosystems because many kinds of living organisms have been reported from this structure on the glaciers, for example, algae, rotifertardigradainsects and ice worm. Wharton et al. (1985) suggested that cryoconite holes are individual ecosystems with distinct boundaries, energy flow, and nutrient cycling. Cryoconite holes of Himalayan glaciers were also reported to provide semi-stagnant aquatic habitats to various organisms on the glacier such as algae, insects and copepods (Kohshima 1987b, Yoshimura 1997). Thus, it is important to know the basic characteristics of Himalayan cryoconite holes, such as morphology, distribution, and stability, to understand the glacier ecosystem of this region.

Storstein is a beautiful place with a long shoreline with a lot of rocks and if you are here at the right time during the midnight sun period it will shine straight in from where you see the gap in the middle between the mountains.
There also goes a ferry to Arnøya from here, a beautiful place with tall mountains and more than enough dramatic scenery.

Captured at Storstein, Skjervøy, Northern Norway.

This work is remake of my old work "The Tower of Beetle".
"The Tower of Beetle" was made ten years ago.
I was interested how to change a past vision by my imagination now.
And I newly added taste of the German expressionism such as Dr.Caligari
and Nosferatu.

Modeled and rendered with Shade, ZBrush (Man's face model)
The composition, the tonal correction and the background
were made with Photoshop.

For the watchers! I know I have been idle for quite some time and I a very sorry for that, but hopefully this makes up for my absence.

Actually finished within a day. A total of 9 and a half hours non-stop was spent on this piece. Also not to mention fist piece of the year, so I felt a weeee bit rusty to begin with. Mixed media; Polychromos pencils, Prisma colour pencils, water colours and acrylic paints. "Rising Nebula."

Also please like and/or view my page! www.facebook.com/ArtOfEsshence it would be much appreciated to axpand my audience! :aww:

I did this image over the famous Michelangelo fresque ''God breathed life into Adam''

left side : mainly I wanted to show you who not create man.
Man was created from idea, idea is something that no one has proved, but it is obvious to everyone, Prometheus is knowledge and snake is a metaphor for danger of creativity.
Creativity and technology is not good or bad, it is not action, man must choose his way.
on right side : I tried to do a completely different world of giger, right side is a man and his first divine side,
(big fish girl body with the baby at the end of the antenna) :0
man must choose to which side to tie umbilical coard.

Im nobody in the photography world but I do try my best to get better with every shoot I do.

This simple image isnt so simple when you look at the nitty gritty. From planning of the composition to actually envisioning the end product. My style is not highly illustrative or perhaps I should say my style has gone pass the highly illustrative days. I'd prefer hyper realistic visions where time and space meet in a unision and thus what you see may be believed to be real.

Take this image for example the sky was a 10 minute long exposure at around 6pm but the city lights only come on at 7 or so.. In the end I had to wait an hour just to get the right light I needed. This does not take into account the actual processing of it which took me another 1 and a half hours. I would have never imagined doing so much work for an image when I first picked up my camera.. but in order for me to present my world to you.. it is a necessity.

I hope you like the image and my world.

A cloudy sunrise awaited us on the perfectly-still lake Mývatn. The rocks protruding from the lake were covered with tiny ice patterns, and the soft colors made this a perfect beginning to the day.

If you'd like to experience and shoot these amazing locations under my dedicated guidance, please check out my upcoming 'Land of Ice' (south Iceland) and 'Winter Paradise' (northern Iceland) photography workshops next January.
You can view the workshops teaser trailer here!

I've seen another world. Sometimes i think it was just my imagination.

Iceland suffered from the longest winter since 30 years in 2013 and when i arrived there in May most of the usually green landscape was still full of oranges and yellows. Nevertheless the beautiful waterfalls of Iceland acted as a herald of spring, providing shelter from wind and a warmer climate and from there on the rich greens were taking back the countryside. This is the rebirth of icelands flora after a cold and long winter and you can clearly see the progression of colors to the horizon where it is still mostly dead grass and moss.

My 100th deviation submission!

The Photo

Another shot from the session I did the other week on the South West coast of Portugal. This was the last shot of the night, 30 minutes after the sun had set...and I'm amazed it worked out to be honest..there was so much spray in the air that I didn't think it was worth trying anything longer than a couple of seconds.
