Deep Cliff #28 The WORST Martial Arts Anime EverMore Like This
Question: Why does Tenjho Tenge SUCK!?
Hello, and welcome to yet another Deep Cliff, where I listen to your questions and bring you in depth answers. I am a lover of martial arts and anime, and anime has done a decent job of incorporating martial arts into its mediums. I like to classify such anime into their own genre called “Martial Arts Anime” or “MAA.” These are anime that focus completely around martial arts and battle. Good examples would be Ranma ½, Dragonball Z, Martial Hearts, Afro Samurai, or just about any anime that involves old fashion forms of combat…no guns. I think the best of this genre is Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple. This anime is by far the best because it bases its arts off of real martial arts, has a great story, awesome characters, realistic and REAL techniques, as well as just an all around great feel to the anime.
But…just like the Yin and the Yang, for every good anime in a genre, there’s always one

Question: Adventure Time vs Regular Show
Hello and welcome to another “Deep Cliff,” where I listen to your questions and bring you in depth answers. For those of you who know me, I am a lover of cartoons. The cartoons I grew up with were what I loved and still enjoy even at the age of 20. I still love the Looney Tunes, I adore Tom and Jerry, and there are some anime out there that still entertain me, even if they were meant for kids younger than me. With that said, I haven’t really kept up with any of the newer shows and cartoons that have come out…two of them are the subject of today’s question.
A lot of controversy has been asked about the shows “Adventure Time,” and “Regular Show,” which can both be viewed on Cartoon Network. Some have called them new and creative kids shows designed for children of all ages, while others look on them as lazy and embarrassingly ridiculous excuses for kids programming. So today, we need to

I sat in the living room, waiting on Eva to return from the backyard. She had wanted to go and grab some peaches…which I first found odd because the only fruit trees she had were apple trees…but she simply winked at me and told me “that’s not an issue.” I took her word for it and let her go. I lay back in the chair and sighed. Things had really improved since that day at the park…and things had gotten a lot better between Eva and I. It was like we’d torn down a barrier between us that day…a barrier I didn’t even know existed.
“I’m back!” I looked up to see Eva walking through the door. In her arms was a basket of peaches and a newspaper on top of the fruit. She set the basket down and grabbed a peach. She quickly washed it in the sink and took a bite. The juices dripped down the sides of her mouth and she giggled. “Tasty!”
“Can I see the paper?” I asked. Eva nodded and handed it to me. E
AttackedOkay, the good news is that I finally got over my sickness. It was quite annoying, but I'm finally over it and I feel much better....so leave it to me to get myself into trouble right afterwards.More Like This
The title kind of says it all.
For those of you who don't know this, I attend a college in the upstate of South Carolina. On Tuesday and Thursday nights (and any other nights they are open) I go to a muay thai gym to train and participate in martial arts matches. It's a lot of fun for me, but there is one downside. To get to this place, I need to pass by a pretty rough neighborhood. Now, I grew up in a rough neighborhood, so it normally doesn't bother me too much, but the other night, I ran into trouble for the first time in a while.
Two guys apparently were stirring up trouble (I'm half sure they were drunk), and I was walking home from the gym. I was exhausted from training and I really didn't feel up to dealing with them, so I kept trying to avoid them, but they wanted to cause trouble I'm
NICHOLAS ******** CAGEOkay...so me and a few friends went to Chinatown and Little Tokyo today. I went as my Okami Shiranui cosplay. We were at an anime store in Little Tokyo and NICHOLAS CAGE was there with his family. Me and a friend, Jessica, start freaking out and slowly, everyone else does because a famous person is here and we're all huge fans. Everyone crowds from a distance taking pictures and we sneak up all "I'm so sorry to bug you but I'm such a huge fan, is there any chance we could get a picture?" I GOT TO MEET NICHOLAS CAGE AND GET A PICTURE. I'm still excited from it. And then people crowding became a fire hazard and the staff snuck him out the back....it was so cool. And amazing. And awesome.More Like This

Carol set me in the sink and began to scrub me off. I felt like a baby, but my body felt too stiff and too hurt to do anything about it. I just sighed and allowed her to patch me up. The wounds weren't very deep and it didn't take long for the bleeding to stop. Carol didn't talk much as she worked, and I didn't have much to say anyway. I was lost in my own thoughts. Who was that voice that had come into my head? Why did if feel like I've heard him somewhere before? It was all too strange, and every time I tried to figure it out, the voice would throw some cryptic message at me and then vanish. Was I going crazy? It was a possibility.
"Okay," Carol finally announced, "you're all patched up...now go put on some shorts over in the drawer." Carol had gone to the trouble of packing me some doll clothes for me to wear. It wasn't much, but it was still better than being naked. I flew to the drawer and slipped on a pair of shorts, and flew out to meet her. "We're gonna be late for class
