An idea that each culture has to act and be a certain way is normal. What we call steryotypes.
Most steryotypes are ugly, sadly enough.
I feel judgement all the time.
I am judged by:
And more often than not,
It's a very ugly thing to me, to just judge someone by looks.
I know for certain that anyone can be good or bad, no matter how they appear on the outside.
I've always been one to be tolerant to all races. In other words, I don't hate any specific race.
Hetalia has this way of showing you what each culture has to offer. How each one is different.
And then you see the similarities.
It's nice to find people who share interests and ideas. Who understand what you think and why.
It makes each one of us feel like we can be special, but still connect in a huge way.
I've never been one to fit in with a certain crowd.
I just bounce around each group, and make friends with whoever wants to be my friend.
There are no racial or men

Author's Note: Since this is a story about our little Lovi, cursing will definitely occur. Turn back now if you don't like swearing.
You shook the door handle of the Vargas' residence, fuming. You banged a fist on the door. "Lovino Vargas, let me in this instant!" you hollered. You heard the locks click, and you prepared to throw a punch in the Italian's face.
"Oh, (y/n), what a surprise~!" came a bubbly, cheery voice. Your anger was quickly replaced and replenished with confusion. You let your fists drop to your sides loosely. "Feli?"
"Fratello is upstairs if you-" Gently pushing Feliciano aside, you skipped stairs to Lovino's bedroom. You tried the door handle, it jiggling with no success. You groaned. "Lovino. Unlock. The. Door." you snarled.
"Fat chance, ragazza!" called a voice from inside. You frowned, getting ready to kick down the door. "I will kick down this damn door if you don't ope

How do I explain this? If I tell you, will you please believe me? I hope you will. Call me crazy, call me sane, call me a believer, call me an attention seeker, call me whatever you please. But I beg of you to listen to what I tell you, because they’re real. They’re very real. As real as my shaking hands as I write this. The things that go bump in the night, the monsters under your bed, the thing in your closet, the creature with the red eyes watching you as you sleep, the things that haunted your childhood, the things that may still haunt you now. They are all real, and I’m about to tell you how I know, so please listen and take my advice: they feed off of negative emotions, fear, jealousy, anger, hatred, envy, sadness, loneliness, anything negative, they love it. Don’t let them know you’re scared it only makes them stronger. They’re all like that, but there’s one in particular that’s the worst abou
Pluto (Spain x Reader)Every day, innumerable amounts of people glance at you, wave at you, or even smile at you, but you were one to know, you were always alone. You blink, and you see yourself splitting into a hundred pieces.More Like This
Tribulations were attracted to you, like a strong force, yanking you up from the roots. You had learned through years of hardship that everyone loved themselves the most. You were just an outsider to them. They heard about your rumours, they listened to your rumours, they spread your rumours, and they believed your rumours.
If you wanted, you could have laid yourself flat for them, could have turned yourself into mirrors, for them to see you, but only to end up seeing themselves. You could have dressed up to belong with them, could have smiled to please them, could have acted just like them. It wasn’t hard for you. Not one single bit, but you chose to remain the way you were.
There were certain things you could not deny. Like the fact that time flies no matter who was ready and
[RQ] Iceland x Reader - Not An ActThe cafeteria buzzed with excited chatter as you and your friend, Emil, ate your lunches together. As of right now, you were trying to convince Emil to try out for the school play that the three drama teachers were hosting. It was a way to get more students involved with the school, and a way to get more money from ticket sales. They announced the play recently, so the teachers were just starting to hold auditions to see who would get to play a part in the event. You were convinced that Emil would be perfect for the main role—even though you had no idea what the play was about—so you were trying to persuade him to audition.More Like This
"Come on Emil! It'll be fun," you insisted to the silver-haired young man.
Emil flashed you a small smile, "No, it's okay."
"You shook your head, "No it's not! You have to try out! Please~?"
You gave the best puppy dogface you could muster and stared intently at Emil. He turned his head to the side, trying to avoid looking at your pleading eyes. A

"Go get him, Mon Amie! You can do it!" Francis whispered in [Name's] ear as he pushed her into a certain Spaniard, then hid in the nearest bush.
"O-oh! Antonio!" [Name] blushed as her childhood bestfriend, Antonio Carriedo, turned around and gave her one of his signature cheeky smile.
"Mi Querida! How are you? I haven't seen you lately!" Antonio looked at the blushing girl.
[Name] scratched the back of her head "A-ah! We-well! I've been hanging around with Francis lately, you see..."
Antonio raised one of eyebrows in confusion.
Francis and [Name?] I don't think so! Francis and [Name] are complete opposites!

Okay so there is this "fem!"Italy;
And this one;
What is the difference?
Well, besides their designs, the first one is NOT fem!Italy-- it's Feliciano cross dressing for an April fools event. He dressed as a girl claiming he was one the whole time and his name was actually "Bella Vargas" to fool Japan for April fools. So this one of course would act like Feliciano and be all cowardly--
The second one though is the actual official Nyotalia Northern Italy. She acts some what different in the fact she is more willing to fight than Feliciano--
As I said earlier, this is a common error-- I even thought the "Fem!"Italy with braids was actually Nyo!Italy at one point-- but I just wanted to clear the thing that;
"Fem!"Italy with braids ≠ Nyotalia Italy
So yeah. That is all--

Notes on Character Design
I received the question pictured below at my tumblr blog. In case it's useful to anyone here, I decided to go ahead and use this otherwise dormant journal to share the article I put together in response.
Character design and drawing are tome-sized topics and even if I had all the answers (I don't - I have a lot to learn), I'm not sure I could communicate them effectively. Here are some thoughts an ideas that might help, though.
First, some general things...
Let some of that anxiety go. This isn't a hard science. There's no wrong way,

Shipping with OC's, that is what I am going to talk about as of the moment.
I don't ship these versions with oc's and I did give an opportunity for that to happen some time ago-! But there is a really good reason why I do not do it, much anymore that is. Typically I have seen, over the course of being more than a year on here, of mary-sue and gary-sue oc's, I mean there was no historical reference that I could find any amount helpful to me in all honestly. But some times I don't find these versions attracted to oc's--
Okay this is all I have to say before a rant appears

To whom it may concern,I know it's not much for me to come out and say this so anonymously but to tell you the truth I don't think it's in any of my business to come out and tell everyone what's going on in your life. In truth not even I know...More Like This
Look, I know you are struggling and I understand that moving on and stepping forward has been so hard for such a long time. I understand how difficult it can be to trust that not everything stays horrible and bad; that there's somehow a light out there amid the darkness. Trust me, believe me, I know.
For the most part you'll read this and be skeptical. How could anyone know what it's like but you? Surely this is just another one of those posters on the bus stop, another one of those cheap 'hang in there' slogans brought on to help stave off an ever growing population of graves, more and more of which hold occupants of their youth rather than of the ages.
But this is not that kind of message.
I've been there. I've seen what happens to people wh
