Using bases, linearts provided for other users =/= using somebody else's art without permission. You cannot equate stealing shit from Google Images to using bases provided by other artists with the intent to allow other artists to use.

Soooo, what is new about ZOO Prague, floods and "deliver Woxys to ZOO Prague" project?
The ZOO was indeed damaged a lot, but as the level of water gets lower and lower, they find out the damage might be less severe than they thought. At first they made estimation of 160 000 000 Czech crowns, now they think it might be "only" 100 000 000 Czech crowns. The water level was lower than in 2002 and also it was "steady", while in 2002, there was a strong stream comming through whole the ZOO, damaging it. Now the reconstruction might be "easier" than in 2002...

I am really sad to write this.
The Czech republic was hit by floods again. The event made the headlines of world press / news agentures.
Unfortunately, the flood damaged also ZOO Prague.
You know, ZOO Prague was hit by very serious flood in 2002. It totally destroyed the low part of the complex - although the ZOO was in touch with the responsible authorities, they were given a wrong estimation of the highest level of Vltava river. As a result, the ZOO staff did not have enough time to evacuate all the animals. Although the keepers often risked their lives (f.e. when the ZOO was already flooded, they used boats to transport the anesthetized gorillas, potentionally very dangerous animals, to safety), more than 100 animals died. It included a hippo, a lion, a young male gorilla, an elephant.... Many who create art have most likely seen the drama´s between image creators and so called "tracers" or "copycats" that steal or trace poses from existing images.
But , you can't copyright a pose. If you see a piece of art in which a character is in a very similar pose to one of your pictures, unfortunately the law does not offer protection against that kind of theft-- poses are not technically copyright able. However, if a picture is a direct trace of another picture, where it is clear that the picture was copied or traced line-for-line from another piece of art, then it is a copyright violation.

My Little Pony was, and always has been, a cartoon made to sell toys. IT'S A GIANT COMMERCIAL. That is the entire reason it exists—GET OVER IT. Nevertheless, the writers do a damn good job working in all of Hasbro's marketing desires.
Besides, it was completely expected. For instance: A decent bit of FiM pulls inspiration from Sailor Moon. Annnnd guess what? Sailor Moon was a princess—who periodically "leveled up" and got things like wings.
Also, princesses are a marketing trend right now—of course Hasbro is going to cash in on that.

There was one specific case where a guy wanted to use my drawing as a book cover but didn't want to pay. I always loved this song and I'm a huge fan of Sarah Brightman. I'm a mezzo soprano and decided to practice my opera (which is very weak, fyi). I think this is really off-key and the notes are way too high but I tried.
I practiced my Italian sooooooo hard for this, I think I messed up in places and it was hard not to pronounce some of the words in my accent.
The high note at the end makes me cringe. *shudders*
