SER Turkey Fun Show (ENDS TODAY @ 10pm CST)Official Results: http://fav.me/d5nrc2nMore Like This
EDIT: There are THREE divisions when it comes to each class - for younger riders. Any rider 18+ are simply placed in the "open" division.
----PeeWee: 3 to 7 years
----Children: 8 to 12 years
----Youth: 13 to 17 years.
Standing Edge Ranch is hosting their very first fun show - the reason this is called a fun show is for the simple fact: there is now calf roping, bronc riding, or bull riding. With that being said, this show will contain a mixture of English and Western discipline events - so whichever seat fits your stable. At SER, we require any and all riders younger than 18 to wear helmets, no exceptions; so, this means all guests riders on Standing Edge ground will be required to abide by this rule. As the title of this show may give away, the show will be ending on Thanksgiving Day, so we may have some extra items about on our ranch - so maybe try to include pumpkins and fall/Thanksgiving themes in contest
THE GRAND DEBUTE- AlteredJudgingSystem+HandlerReqsThe Grand DebutMore Like This
The Grand Debut is a show series has been specifically developed for the future champions of this equestrian community. Every real champion has to start somewhere, and often their debut into the show world as a youngster marks the start of their legacy that will develop as they grow and mature into some of the world's best athletes. The Grand Debut is designed to allow foals to compete against their peers of their future discipline in three specific categories: Liberty, Conformation, and Performance.
• Liberty: The foal is judged at 3 common gaits (walk, trot and canter) while at liberty in an enclosed area.
• Conformation: The foal is judged on conformation as far as it's suitability to the discipline it has been bred for with respect to the breeds' standards.
• Performance: The foal's athleticism is judged at a sprint.
It is my hope that this show will provide for the community a good debut for our future champions.
