This Skeleton KeyThis key,More Like This
this Skeleton Key,
has so much potential to move us Forward,
to unlock the places we Need to go,
but like its name suggests,
it is slowly deteriorating.
Its shiny and smooth metal,
is Rusting and Flaking Away,
revealing nothing more,
than Broken and blanched white bone,
that tried to Hide beneath layers of iron.
It is what hinders us.
It is an ancient past,
that wants to Live again.
But broken bones can be Splinted and Mended,
and keys can be Reforged,
and we Can move on through New doors.
Words of WhimsyOodledie doodeldie spiffeldy spat,More Like This
The man ran away with his mat in his hat.
Spoofaulty shoefaulty piffledy pin,
The way that he ran did make all of us grin.
Antobee pantobee glandular poo,
We laughed and we laughed, he tripped over his shoe.
Mandlepiff chandlepiff icklebar nole,
He fell on his face, hit his head on a pole.
Shimmily sham, shimmily shame,
We laughed and we danced, all wet in the rain.
Pamela pam, pamela pain,
We buried that man in the flat plain.
Pivaldy poof, pivaldy clover,
The dirt that we threw would fall over and over.
Over and over the dirt it would fall,
Fall on the man who took his great fall.
And all that were laughing and dancing in rain,
All of us were laughing at pain,
Pain of the man who took his great fall,
Now under the dirt resting some six great feet tall.
