The Hound and the Scale
More Like This
Alongside a baby blue wall,
Lies a bathroom scale, purchased from a mall.
Its new steel plate reflects what is around,
Hoping soon, it will reflect its owner, the hound.
The hound walks in on its two sturdy legs,
Slowly making strides, like he's carrying kegs.
His short, black fur is bouncing back the room's rays,
While his brown belly fur appears to be a shadowing haze.
This hound is young and, to be honest, a little thick,
Due to his college foods made from places that were quick.
But he did not mind that his belly pushed out;
This fat made him warm, there was no need to pout.
The hound escalated up onto the scale;
Still tired, but able to play with his tail.
The scale spoke out calmly that he gained one pound.
He chuckled, saying, "One more, and it will be two twenty five for this hound."
Some years past, but the scale has stayed clean,
But it had moved from blue walls to green.
It still sat by the shower and the sink.
Maybe it can catch the hound when he's taking a drink.

She went to her auntie's house that night, hoping to get revenge on Andy for not paying attention to her. Her aunt is a witch, and Marie thought she would have the way of getting at that boy.
"So what are you exactly wanting to do to him, dear?" asked her aunt from behind a desk.
"Something that will change him drastically, something that would make him look so different that no one would want to be with him," answered Marie, getting more and more excited with id
