Indiegogo/Kickstarter ConsiderationsI've been adding up my expenses for next year concerning art...filing fees for creation of an LLC, expenses for getting tables at shows, travel expenses, art supplies, etc. These are adding up quickly. My funding goal would be about $3500-$4000 for next year.

I'm considering (but not necessarily sold on) doing a Kickstarter campaign for these expenses. Nothing crazy, just enough to hold me for the year. If I were going to do it, any amount above my goal would go directly to charity for the homeless and missions.
So I figured that if I were to go with a crowd funding option (Kickstarter, Indiegogo), if I could get 100 people to contribute just $35-$40, I would meet my goal. Based on a good suggestion from a friend, I would like to print a sketchbook/commission book, along with original art commissions and prints (one 8.5 x 11" B&W; one 11 x 17" color) and Amazon gift cards.
