You sat at your desk at the DWMA just staring at your notebook. It was like a black cloud was hovering above your head. Everyone sensed your bad mood and tried to avoid you. Everyone except for your two best friends, of course…
“Hey, _____!” Patty greeted you with a bright, cheerful smile. You continued staring at your notebook.
Liz arched an eyebrow and put a hand on her hip. She eyed you suspiciously. “Eat a rotten apple?”
You turned your head slowly so that you were facing the twin pistols. They were both watching you expectantly; Patty with a goofy look on her face and Liz with a serious, almost concerned expression. You sighed.
“I have a problem…but it’s not really something I can discuss here…”

‘Don’t kiss your student. Don’t kiss your student. KID, DO NOT KISS YOUR STUDENT!’ Kid thought to himself repeatedly as he ran at you. Once again the two of you were outside of your school called Shibusen where meisters and weapons come together in order become informed and learn just how to fight witches and demons. Sadly you and your partner ___ (guy’s name) were failing Professor Stein’s class. You weren’t the only ones! Seriously! Even Soul and Black Star are failing… though they always failed while your grades tended to fluctuate. Maka constantly scolded you for comparing yourself to the two ‘idiots’ but you couldn’t help it. Anyway, Kid had been instructed by Lord Death to become your tutor in order to increase your grades and assure success on the upcoming exams.
‘Don’t even think about it!’ Kid told himself as he fired two shot

"Son, you have become a great weapon meister. There are a couple of students struggling in Professor Stein's class. As a great meister and as my son, I feel that it is your duty to help and tutor some of these students. A particular student I have already set up for after classes today is ___, she is a meister who works with a sword like Crona," Lord Death said in his squeaky voice. He watched his son sigh and glance at his weapons, the twins Liz and Patty. He rested a hand on the back of his head and watched his father move about. "I guess "Death the Kid reluctantly agreed.
Even though Lord Death wore a mask, Kid was sure that he was grinning. Lord Death waved his huge white hands about then gently patted Kid on the head. "That's my son, now go ahead to class and don't be late," cheered Kid's father. Kid turned away from his father. "Liz Patty, let's go," Kid told his weapons and headed down the steps.

“Alrighty!” You smiled broadly as the latch on your door clicked open. The hinges gave off a slight screech as you pressed forward into the dark apartment. Kid followed closely behind, his eyes a bit weary from lack of sleep. “Now remember, my home is your home. Just don’t go snooping through my dresser, okay?”
Kid’s posture became rigid at the very suggestion. “I would never—” he stopped mid-sentence as his foot became imbedded in some sort of box. He tried shaking it off, but failed. After a moment, you flipped the light-switch on to reveal that he was standing in an empty take-out box.
“I live right down the road from a Chinese restaurant,” you explained a bit sheepishly. Kid staggered backwards as you popped the box off of his foot with little effort. He flailed his arms, trying to keep his balance, but eventually ended up landing in

“What about Saturday?” His voice was slightly muffled through the speaker of your cell-phone. You flipped the page of your book and nodded absently. Your brows furrowed, however, as you remembered that you had promised to cook dinner for your family that day. Your parents were always working and they wanted for you to take more responsibility around the house. You sighed.
“Can’t. I promised my parents I would fix dinner,” you admitted. You felt so guilty. It had been two weeks since your big confession and you hadn’t even gone on a real date with Kid yet. There was a slight pause. “Sorry…”
“No problem. Why don’t I come and help you cook?” Kid suggested. You smiled brightly and closed your book, rolling around so that you were lying upside-down on your bed.

You ran through the hall, laughing wildly with tears streaming out of your eyes. Your classmates ignored you. This wasn’t unusual in the least. You waved as you passed by Maka and Soul.
“Cool hair,” Soul commented.
You winked. “Thanks but apparently Kid doesn’t think so!”
You ducked into the janitor’s closet and listened as someone came rushing by. You had to cover your mouth with your hand to stifle your giggling. After you were sure he was gone, you took a moment to fix your hair. Long on one side, short on the other. You had wanted to do it for a while but had been waiting for just the right moment so that it would freak out your symmetry obsessed bestie at a time when he wasn’t expecting you to pull one of your little stunts. And boy had it worked!
