WM 734 is about to enter Brush tunnel at Corriganville, MD during a Carl Franz fall 2012 photo charter. This is nicknamed the suicide shot because, well, Im standing in the gauge as 734 is about to enter the tunnel. They would pull into the tunnel, stop 10 feet before the photo line then back out.

Can you see this old man Showing what the war has made him? His eyes are still flashing like the medarls that he wears! Think of what he saw then - The fire and the death so close and grim. He has done his best so that we all could live our way!
Some will remember the shots i took there in summer. I have been waiting for this time of the year to do photoshooting there again. Now the place got much more beautiful than it already was. Water level dropped like half a meter compared to springtime and many more rocks are showing covered with leafs
