Relaxing“ARG!”More Like This
Optimus almost jumped in surprise as Ratchet stomped his way into their quarters. The medic looked positively livid. His optics were darker than normal and he was vibrating as he walked. There was a strange tangle of a yellow, string-like substance across the side of his helm and Optimus could see that it was starting to circle around the antenna sticking out of his pack.
“Are you alright, Ratchet?” Optimus asked as he sat up on his berth.
He had just settled down to read through a datapad that Ultra Magnus had delivered while letting a content Smokescreen curl up against his chest. He hadn’t expected Ratchet for at least two more joors, more than enough time for him to read through the datapad and make sure that Smokescreen did not wake up and pounce on the medic before he had a chance to lie down. Smokescreen had picked up a strange habit of doing that to the poor medic and it did not help with Ratchet’s sore chassis.

Today was The Day.
The Day was important enough to have it's own subfolder in Steve's memory banks, with an attached alert that was flagged URGENT and was pinging him every few kliks. Not that he needed the reminder; even if he hadn't been thinking constantly about his upcoming confession, the other drones were locking him out of the bunker until he did it, and that was that. Recharging in the hallways of the Nemesis was extremely unhealthy. Liable to wake up scrapped.
...Of course, his confession was even more likely to land him in the scrapheap.
