“Terra is a chess game, my son,” said Philip sitting down in front of an ivory board, rain pounding against the floor length windows.
Wide eyed and attentive, David sat across from him with his small hands in his lap. The metal table was cold and the sconces provided ill illumination on their game.
“First, we must understand the board,” said his father, waving his hand over the pewter and ivory squares.
“What’s to understand, father? They’re just black and white squares. They’re all the same.”
“Ah, that is where you are mistaken, my son,” said Philip, his two dimensional face glowing with loving admiration, “While every square looks the same, they are not.”
David narrowed his eyes and scratched behind his left ear, his stark black hair falling into his young, round face.
“To understand the game, you must first understand the board
My reaction to Robin Williams' deathHeard about Robin Williams' death moments ago and from what i've heard its a suicide. And let me be honest with you guys, I had attempted suicide at least once years ago. I dealt with problems in my life pertaining to stress, loneliness, depression and so on. At the time when I thought about doing it, it would solve my problems. Instead, it would make the problem more worse than it already is. In addition, if I check out early, my friends, and my family would be very sad to hear me leave early. I've been involved in some point of their lives and especially in my family's case it means the whole world to them. It ain't worth it to check yourself out early. You have a LOT to look forward to in life. Whether you get accepted into a university, getting a new job, getting a family, and most importantly HAPPINESS. Look, it may not be easy to reach your goals in life but in time you WILL get the job done. Your family cares for you, your friends care for you and if you're religious, GOD caresMore Like This

the fuse has been lit
it’s all tangled
to which barrel does it go
like a fairytale
the destroyer of worlds
the blacksmith reforging a broken sword
like a fairytale written on deathbed
when a clown is a knight
when princess is of common birth
a kingdom is formed
kingdom that could last for generations
a castle in it’s midsts
underneath which sit two barrels
and the fuse has been lit

Where sorrows dare not go
We can leave the world, a perfect scheme
and bring our love in tow.
Let us dance among the stars at night
In steps we will not guide
With hands entwined our hearts take flight
all while our souls collide.

despite the hate that you put him through.
He is the smart one, the one who's called geek,
But when you found out he was gay, you called him a freak.
You beat him to a pulp, claimed it was right,
laughed at him endlessly, when he wouldn't fight.
You called him a sin, condemned him to hell
You called him a demon, whose presence you should dispel .
But yes, he was still beautiful even when he would cry,
Those tears would stream freely, down his pale face they would slide.
He released his emotions, where no one could see him,
And you stood there watching, fantasizing over your victim.
You loved him, did you not? But you struggled greatly
And because of that, he was your punching bag daily.
Fist after fist drove into his frail frame,
the people at school would praise you with fame.
He was gay, the freak everyone hated,
But you were the football player whose feelings were belated.
Even with blood staining his clothes
He was still so beautiful, he
why are we here?I watch the stars pass by andMore Like This
I wonder if I am even here at all
as a child, I used to think my life
was written in a story book
screaming for someone to let me out
so I would never have to end
and I never thought
of how I began or what my story was
we're too concerned with the words
we want to finish and yet ignore
the ones we are saying right now
don't care how we present ourselves
obsessed with dying and it's beauty
afraid of living and of what makes it ugly
are we even living?
do the stars care if we're here?
do they even notice us?

And make me fall
I don't want
Just a little push
I want to be shoved
Off a cliff, a mountain, a plane
And fall forever and ever
Never to stop falling.
No, I don't
Don't you even
Because if you do
I will hate you
So just let me live falling.
We can fall
Together if you'd like
But I hope
That no matter
What you do
I will continue to plummet
Down into Hell
But I don't mind.
I see you toeing the line
Yet there is someone with you
From all the way down here
I can't tell who they are
It does not matter
Just that they are asking you
To fall with them.
I see hesitation in
Will you jump with them
Or come fall with me
Because like I mentioned
I will forever fall no matter what
It is all up to you.
I can see you leaving
To jump with them
Before you go
Just know that I will never climb back up
Because you just had to trip me
And make me fall in love.
