This image was a super long time in the making. Originally intended to be finished prior to TrotCon 13' but never happened. I was stuck on a commission a couple nights ago so I hopped over to this image after gaining some insight from others. Suddenly it turned into this and I became satisfied with the result so here it is.
This is a BronyCon exclusive print! Currently there is plans for 11 x 17s to be present along with one supersized 24 x 36. The 24x36 may not sell via standard methods though ... If you're attending BronyCon, hop over to table 213 to check it out!
There ARE plans for a Season 2 and Season 3 styled version of this poster. I have a really EXCELLENT setup for Season 2 and still am planning Season 3. But only time can tell how that will go.
I gave Celestia some proper-sized wings, but you can swap them in the SVG file if you want. Similarly, I altered the colours in her tail. You can also remove the magic and sun backdrop. (Those huge wings are beautiful! Why would they be shrunk?)
Now which picture of Timmy Turner is getting posted today? Or maybe it should be Rikku. Hmm... Harley is always a good choice! Darn it, Twi! You and Raven had better stop arguing over those magical tomes!
Just kinda what I imagine Tara is like when she's having fun with her Twitter followers, and the arguments that arise in her mind at times
Started on this several weeks back, but ran into a block when I got to her eyes. Finally got back to finishing it a couple of days ago. I recreated the cutie mark based on the one by Lysok in Taralicious. Go give this artist some love if you haven't already!
This is the one vector that made me famous; it was as explosive as francium.—Parcly Taxel
After making my first few vectors in March 2013 – show-style ponies, their cutie marks, Parcly herself and some out of nothing – I needed something more nuanced than the show to derive rendering procedures for just-above-the-baseline features (i.e. almost obscured by the original raster) with known composition. A little searching led me to Cadance Uses Lick (KP-ShadowSquirrel) and I spent around two weeks on it (though without the shading, which came around in May that same year). When I posted the finished vector, though, everything exploded: ponies started liking me and I was pushed to make more precision vectors, three more Pawlinski traces (Pink, Convodyn and Cold Spot), lots of cutie marks and eventually requests/commissions/trades… they kept coming in, I had something.
This vector was therefore updated for its two-year anniversary with new tools and techniques, the likes of power strokes and masking for magic auras alongside trivial corrections to Cadance's mane, shaded legs and eye. However, its significance on my subsequent vectors and the overall vector scene is undeniable.
A vector of a silly sketch no tracing involved at all of course Made in Photoshop CS6, when it comes to science we don't have a chance against her xD Feel free to use but leave some sort of credit if possible, please don't complain about lack of wings, I prefer the normal design
I will be the first person to admit it, I adore Applejack. She is my very favorite pony, well second only to Rarity (who I adore because I feel I can relate to her, while Applejack gets by on her unique merits alone), and I personally feel it's a terrible shame that she doesn't receive more love from the fan community. So I do my part to draw an appropriate number of fanarts of her, and decided to try something a little different with this one in the form of a sweet, simple, mane-down portrait. And say what you will about her, but I also think the dear thing can be quite pretty when she wants to be.
First piece of My Little Pony: Frinedship is magic fan art in my gallery! Am i cool now?
Have you ever watched horses fight? It's pretty intense. There's biting and kicking and stomping and running after each other and running into each other. They're big, heavy animals and they use every inch of it. Now add pointy, stabby things to their faces and wings and human intelligence and jealousy induced madness and things just get that much worse (or better).
Anywho, I thought I'd take a stab at depicting the epic battle that took place between Luna and Celestia 1000 years in the past. Luna hasn't quite fully transformed into Nightmare Moon yet (or just hasn't gotten her fancy armor), hence the darker coloring.
