And yes Ladies and Colts. by the start and end of these Episodes Twilight is still a Princess Alicorn AND the episodes does show a fantastic way of showing us why Twilight can not be a princess and have it all work.

Librarian vs. princess"Creating a life that reflects your values and satisfies your soul is a rare achievement. In a culture that relentlessly promotes avarice and excess as the good life, a happy person doing his own work is usually considered an eccentric, if not a subversive. Ambition is only understood if it's to rise to the top of some imaginary ladder of success. Someone who takes an undemanding job because it affords him the time to pursue other interests and activities is considered a flake. So the episode starts with a song, that escalated quickly. And boy is it bland and boring, it feels like we just entered in a disney movie rather than an MLP episode.
Eventually Twilight found Rarity manipulating the weather, didn't knew she had enough magic to do that, and sees that her friends' cutie mark have been switched, and they suck at their talents. In which wouldn't make any sense whatsoever since they should be able to be good at them, just like in the cutie pox episode.
Oh yeah, the "What My Cutie Mark Is Telling Me" song, I forgot. This song is hammering in the fact that cutie mark = destiny, to which I say: *EFF*ck destiny. The cutie mark represents the talent that a pony best excels at, not what their destiny is, if you want more examples on how destiny is full of crap, take a look at Final
