The Councilmen's Meeting
The creature was a menace, and so it had to be stopped. On this point all the men who gathered around the thick, wooden table in the town hall agreed. But there was still a question to be answered: How?
"Let's use traditional lassos to tie it down," Pedro exclaimed. "They worked on the other horses, why wouldn't they now?"
"That's ridiculous; it has wings. Before we were on it, it would take flight." The mayor spoke calmly, though his frustrations were obvious in the way his fingers danced on the table.
