“Such angels and their halos

tear at their own throats

The Procrastinator A Day In The Life
Procrastination is the practice of carrying out less urgent tasks in preference to more urgent ones, or doing more pleasurable things in place of less pleasurable ones, and thus putting off impending tasks to a later time, sometimes to the "last minute" before a deadline.

.People often tell me things likeMore Like This
"I'm sorry you had to go through all that bad stuff in your life".
And to be honest, I feel sorry for you if you never suffered through anything.
If you've never had any hardships to face, or things that made you cry or feel like your world was coming crashing down. Things like that make you wiser, they make you stronger, they help you learn from your mistakes, even though they aren't pleasant- and people who live a sheltered, pampered life usually lack those qualities.
It's nothing to look down on or feel sorry for, and it's nothing to be ashamed of if you've had a hard life.
But since you're still around, you ought to give yourself a pat on the back.
It's kind of like a game.
If you play it on hard mode, you might mess up a lot, but you're bound to get better at it a lot faster.
