“Because he is no longer operating on his own free will…” Darrius inserted, “He is taking orders now….someone who wishes to take the place and power of the elders…”
“Elders? You mean as in the council? They haven’t ruled for hundreds of years….I mean I know they’re important and all but what could he possibly want with them?”
“It’s not about them…but their power,” Aya said, looking at Darrius, “The dreams I’ve been having…they’ve been warning be about this…” Aya spoke, sounding unsure of herself; Darrius nodded as she spoke, understanding what she meant.
“Foresight is only one among many…such powers as that are what he wishes to grasp,” Darrius

Dagger only smiled as he stepped back from the group, seeming oblivious to the ruin that was escalating from all sides. Aya found Nights hand as the three stood, watching the scene that was unfolding in front of them. Dagger carefully removed his small glasses from the bridge of his nose, revealing pale ice blue eyes that almost blended into the white that surrounded his iris. His eyes began to close as his gentle features softly twisted in pain as the fire roared louder and closer, almost covering the sound of tearing close. Aya stood in wonder, mouth gaped open as she stared at what was happening; the back of Daggers black suit had begun to tear, revealing a pure white soft texture that covered his back. The broken jacket seam ripped down the length of his spine, letting the material slide off his back. His wings were larger than before, his back covered in white feathers. A thin white light seemed to cover Daggers
Vampire part 27Aya woke the next morning cuddled into the side of Night who was snoring lightly in his peaceful slumber. She allowed her lips to be tugged into a small smile as she watched his chest rise and fall with each breath. He seemed so content with the world around him as he slept in his dream world. Not wanting to wake him, Aya quietly stood, slipping from the room. She wandered through the main room of the building and through the deserted hall way, just happy to stretch her legs after so long in a hospital bed. She examined her arms and hands; the burns that had scorched her skin black had melted away, leaving her skin smooth and porcelain white. She jumped as she heard a cough echo off the walls; she listened carefully for another sound as she continued to walk. As she got closer to kitchen she could hear the faint tumble of words as two deep voices bounced back and forth in conversation.More Like This

Damon lunged first, using his size to his advantage. Darrius miss calculated his side step by a hair width and the two men went tumbling to the ground. Together they wrestled, each man trying to overpower the other. A loud bang from outside cause the two men a moments distraction, rolling apart and quickly retrieving their weapons. Swords held high they stared each other down, waiting for a break in attention, a weakened defense. Minutes went by with only the sounds of the waging battle cries and class from outside the room to fill t
Vampire part 25A shadow appeared distorted behind the smoke, advancing towards them. Damon’s tall solid figure emerged from the smoke, advancing towards them. Darrius stood his ground, protecting his love with his very body. Damon advanced closer to them; Alexandra stood her ground, watching from behind Darrius, she could feel the fight building in the air, filling her senses. They stood staring at each other; the noise of battle filled the air around them with sounds of clashing steel, yells and panicked cries and screams.
An army of iron clad men filed in behind the intimidating man, standing in front of him. Within seconds they had surrounded the couple and had Darrius caught and pinned between their weapons. He struggled to break away from their grasps trying to get back to his love b
Vampire part 24Darrius laid in bed, tangled in blankets, shifting just as his eyes did, darting under their lids as he dreamed vivid harsh memories; he was in a chamber room filled with hundreds of people; music was playing loudly from a gothic band, the lights dimmed by the dying candles. It was the feeding hours of his people and those of the royal blood mixed with the crowed, picking their prey. The people were housed in the room all day long during the week for anyone who wished to feed from them. The poor people didn’t know better; they were brought to the castle on the edge of town, fed and clothed until the time came for them to be used as nourishment for the dark creatures, after all, that’s all humans were…feed.More Like This

Vampire part 23Night had watched as she had laid in the bed licking her fangs. It had then struck him that she had only fed twice in her weeks of being turned. Night came back the reality of the kitchen where Aya sat quietly across from him. He got up and got a glass, cutting his own wrist to fill it to the rim for her. He turned around as he heard Aya sniff the air, watched how she licked her lips in hunger, her eyes falling on the crimson filled glass.
“Here…it’ll make you feel better and help you to rest” he said with a kind smile. He kept his eyes on her as she sniffed the air again before taking the glass and hungrily drinking down the contents.
She licked her lips clean as they both looked up to the sounds of voices drawing closer to the kitchen. They observed the door way closely, assuming Darrius had co

A tall muscular man stood over Aya’s body, watching her face change, tighten, crunch and soften to the pain and challenges she was facing in her semi-conscious state. If the serum he had injected into her I.V was working then she would be now realizing the memoires that had woven their way into her dream. With the knowledge settling in she might finally get to a memory that would force her awake.
“I do hope it’s our alone time that awakens her,” came Alexander’s deep voice from the door way.
“You were meant to bring her to the council, not almost kill her,” the man growled as he turned to face Alexander.
Alexander surveyed the man that stood before him; he stuck out like a rave in a flock of doves. He stood a head taller than Alexander at 6ft 5. His jet black hair fell in short layered pieces around his face. The ferocity of his hair stood out against the smooth tanned skin. His strong jaw line was set stiffly, his full lips pressed t

It was strange how she knew all the details of this life but couldn’t remember ever living any of it…like an all too realistic dream. Aya looked down, hurt filling her eyes with tears as she began to walk towards the front doors of the school alone. It took only a moment for Kohel to catch on before he ran to her and took her in his arms, kissing her lovingly in front of everyone.
“I didn’t let go for them,” he said, gently tilting her face up, “I just get nervous around you, trying to keep you in love with me, and when I hold your hand, my own get sweaty.”
“That’s pretty corny,” she replied with a smi
