~Champagne-meat and I go an uber long way back, I'm amazed how after 5 years+ our friendship is still going strong despite the fact that we live in different countries and are doing totally different things with our lives and see each other only twice, sometimes less, in a year~
Thank you *shiroin for the opportunity to go down to visit Kaz and the other Malaysians <3
Top made by tailor auntie, modified by me~ Broomstick made by Karugi Everything else done by me~
aka the shot where I told my photogs that I MUST have a photo with water lilies even if I had to jump in the pond to get it~
aka where there are more lily pads, then cosplayers

Bride of the Water God for me is characterized by 3 things
1. inordinate amounts of shoujo drama and angst (think twilight, but korean LOL) 2. flowy cloth and costumes that should not be physically possible according to the laws of gravity 3. WATER LILIES
Every time you see water you see water lilies and every time you see soah and mui you see water and you see soah and mui all the time which means you see water lilies all the time in almost every single page of this manwha
Mui: Soah....*stalker jiji mode* Soah: *ignores mui* ahhh my water lilies *rabu rabu* I think this photo perfectly encapsulates my water lily obsession~
This photo is submitted in honour of my photogs who O.o at me and laughed when I said I MUST HAVE A PHOTO WITH WATER LILIES, EVEN IF I HAD TO JUMP INTO THE DISGUSTING BROWN POND TO DO IT. Which I did not in the end ~
I think my commentary for this shot is alot more interesting than the photo, I must be on crack <3
Slowly clearing out my backlog of older pics before I put new ones up so anticipate alot of photos from old sets

epic backtrack of win~ This was my first time working with a traditional film photographer -Chihane and it was really fun Although film is kinda troublesome in that you have to scan in the photos and the clarity doesn't come out as well as digital I think photos on film capture something of the moment that digital fails to do. There's something almost magical about the stuff that Chihane produces.
And clearly I need to work on my psycho bitch face. I blame my crappy expressions in this series on my joy of getting to meet and shoot with *sara1789 >.< It was hard enough trying not to have a derpy fangirl smile on my face ORZ.
All the gems are Swarovski crystals I bought from Divisoria. It costed more than the actual costume. So every time a stone fell, I had to pick it up. It hurts to lose a piece. Haha! I also recycled the wig from my White Queen cosplay. I cut some parts and then put it up in pigtails.

Over the weekend and I did a photoshoot with a couple of photographer friends of ours. It was extremely hot and windy out, but we had a blast, and I love how the pictures turned out.
The location is an old rock quarry turned fossil and prairie center in Iowa. I've lived there for most of my life and never knew this place existed until recently. I'm dying to go back there again and do some proper exploring and fossil hunting without having to worry about damaging a costume.

I made this cosplay for the finals of ECG 2012 to represent France, I was very happy to win 3rd place for solo category <3 The European Cosplay Gathering was a wonderful experience for me and I would like to share the official page of this european contest with you! => www.facebook.com/cosplaygather…
EDIT: Thank you so much for the Daily Deviation. This costume is very dear to me since I conceptualized, designed and hand made it - and I am overjoyed that it was recognized on Deviantart. Also excited for photographer Aileen Luib, who is responsible for creating this image.
This is the last image from my photoshoot collab with LA Fashion Photographer Aileen Luib
My Peacock costume has never looked better. O_O I'm going gaga over the colors and lighting in this photo.
Costume: Empyrean Eyes - Peacock Designed and crafted by me Photography by Aileen Luib
From Aileen's portfolio I could see her unique and soulful point of view as a photographer and I was excited to shoot this theme with her, since I don't have many of these types of images in my own portfolio.
Visit Aileen's website, her work is so beautiful! [link]
I purchased this costume way back in 2007 from Beverly when I noticed she was selling some of her costumes on eBay. I had been playing Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life at the time and I really liked Celia's character design so I thought it would be fun to get this costume. I wore it at March Toronto AnimeCON in 2008 and I wore it again at Anime North 2011 and got this rather pretty hallway shot by Rock nam Lee.
The reactions that I got to this costume were so different from when I first wore it thanks to the creation of Hetelia. People seemed to think that I was some weird version of Hungary. XD I'm not a Hetelia fan so I was confused when a bunch of Hetelia Cosplayers kept expecting me to recognize them. lol
At some point I want to wear this costume during the spring or summer out in the country to get some pretty photos of it. SolarTempest did a shoot with me during MTAC when I first wore it, but that was during winter so I look frozen in most of the photos. XD Anyway, I look forward to wearing this costume again.
I was asked to make a comic costume for a comic con in Mexico. After thinking for a long time about who to cosplay, I chose Shadowcat. Many female comic book heroes are very muscular and look very mature....I thought I would not fit that image, so I chose Kitty who is a bit more slender and younger looking. I made the "Bishoujo Figure version" ^^.
The suit is made out of wetlook lycra and yellow leather. My cute little dragon is from "Trollart" *_*....you can buy dragons in many sizes and colors here ---> trollartshop.trollart.de/index…
I'm really happy we could take some pretty pictures of this costume. More will follow !
I concentrated on the armor first. I made a pattern for the chest piece by measuring and drawing out pieces on paper, then fitting and altering them until I was happy with the pattern. Same for the shoulder pauldrons. Using the paper patterns, I made the pieces out of Worbla with foam in between each base layer. Using the Phoenix bird theme as inspiration, I added stylized design details to the armor for more texture and depth. You can see progress on the armor pieces here: sphotos-a-iad.xx.fbcdn.net/hph…
