Faith was neither a doctor not a psychiatrist, but she still knew that hearing voices was a bad thing. "That sounds like you're alright for now. Very well then" She smiled to assure him "We can depart whenever you're ready. There's always another day to try and look up a solution" Nothing could be achieved if they sat here forcing an answer. She looked to her partner for answers
"Well good fer ya" Lapis' gravelly voice sounded condescending. "No voices, yep I'm sure yer all better now." his rolled his eyes. "As soon as ya let yer guard down dey'll leak into yer dreams and punish you. Ya won't have a single waking thought without flashes of enemies and hallucinations." Lapis was speaking from experience of course. "My advice is, do not go far from yer tamer's shard. Dat light from it is wuts protectin' ya fer now. It's creatin' yer mental barrier. Da moment she needs ya to skeedadle, ask for her ta give it to ya"
Lapis demonstrated by picking up the light shard. Lapi

Faith nodded to show she was listening to Emily. When nothing else was said she added "You now know about the virus core digimon like Lapis" This was a new thing. "And you know about digimon getting infected." Just like the eggs at primary village. Faith had no doubt that it could be linked with her partner's origins...possibly. Faith felt a tug on the line, followed by a big jolt. She stood up as she started reeling in the line manually. One hand over the other, one hand over the other.
"Lapis" Faith kicked her digimon awake. Lapis responded with a grunt. "Here it comes. DO NOT bite it" Faith knew this would make things harder for them to reel the fish in.
"Got 'cha" Lapis knew why Faith made this odd request. He stood by the water's edge staring into the water. "Woah, it's huge!"
"Yeah, that too." Emily sighs slightly. "To be honest that one's going to take a bit of time to wrap my head around. There's a puzzle in there somewhere to figure out, but,

"Admittedly I've only ever done this with a proper fishing rod, but it's not like we could do much now. Sulking would only make this virus worst" Faith unraveled the bracelet once again. "I'm not even sure if this would work" She looked through her bag for her pocket knife and started cutting apart the threads in her bracelet. "Lapis, Ridermon, if you two could help me find bait, or parts to make a fishing rod it might keep away some boredom" she offered the two.
"Sweet! Fish" Lapis licked his lips. "Kay. What do ya need?" he asked eagerly.
"Hmm, I guess a nice long stick for a rod would be a good place to start. I'll need something like worms for bait. Aaaand the hardest part would be a hook" Faith concluded. There wasn't much they could find in the wild that would be shaped like a hook.
"Okay! Rideremon can go play fetch for da stick" Lapis teased the other digimon. "Better yet, yer claws probably have more use diggin' fer da worms" Lapis held up his soft furry paws sho

Faith thought over Emily's words after returning with the water. They were a reasonable point. "You're right, I mean 7 children who didn't really have the provisions for camping didn't get too sick. It would be ridiculous if they saved the worlds with a bad case of the runs" There was an amused smile on her face. Faith adjusted the strap on her messenger back before switching which shoulder it was resting on. "Here" Faith held out Emily's water. She was hesitating about where to sit. Should she keep Lapis far from Emily and Crocutamon? If she did then he'd be farther away from the shard, then again.... "I hope you don't mind if I rest my partner beside yours" Faith knew hiding this anymore was going to do more damage than good. Besides, if Emily was true about her feelings, she wasn't going to be hissing in protest. "Lapis needs to be near the shard's light as well. I'd rather he wakes up in sane mind rather than some virus demon. I'd prefer it if I didn't have to punt my

"While I do believe in some aspects of religion, I'm not quite as fanatical as my parents. One can have too much of a good thing" Faith replied good naturedly. Admittedly Emily had a good point though, a little bit of optimism went a long way. Sulking like she did in that temple would be counter productive, and Faith was going to get back home tonight! “Here, if it makes you feel any better” Faith pulled out a tiny can of pepper spray “Usually I only use this on Lapis, this is most definitely a last resort if the digivices fail” Faith still felt like she was being judged for carrying a weapon to use against a digimon- more so her own partner. In her head it was justified. To some tamers who mainly had a black and white morality she was an evil bitter old hag- or something like that. Faith felt Emily may be more open minded, but everyone had a limit somewhere in their morality. Sometimes the ends do not justify the means.
Faith resumed her little c

Tarrochimon curled up, attempting to cover it's eyes with it's ears to ignore them. Another pustule erupted from his body as the arms of Devimon peeled away his ears and held up his chin to pay attention to the other donors. "Sh-shut up! I'm not listening. LALALALALALA" He screeched back at them. Once Crocutamon went back to his own body Lapis would be free to run back to Faith and she would find a way to make them all go away. For now he was wishing they would destroy the temple much faster.
Faith sensed a sort of tension as Emily presented her finding. Emily's eyes were dilated, indicating something had rattled her. Faith squinted owlishly as she took in the hastily written translation that caused her jaw to literally drop and hang open. The manacles were flashing because they were firewalls. Faith came to the conclusion that it was being overloaded and the stress was pushing it to break. "I've always known that Lapis had a really nasty side to him" she had
