There are people who desperately need some. ): And I happened to meet.. at least three today, right here on dA. One of them blocked me, even though I've never talked to them, I didn't even know they existed! xDD They read a comment I made on a commission of a horrible non-human OC kissing a Naruto canon character... And said OC is in the form of a wolf. ôO° My original comment was just a reply to a user who noted how well made the pic was, but also said they hoped the canon was not paired with the OC (most people, including myself, don't like bestiality). The commissioner started insulting me and told me that they want to get famous with their OC, but I was just too stupid to understand... Let me just copy and paste the conversation:

yesterday dA launched some new features to beta testers and I've heard a lot of praise and a lot of negativity about it. I totally understand that change can be hard, and many of us do not welcome it, especially when things change from one moment to the next with no real warning.
That being said, I think it's also important to try and look at changes with an open mind before going on a war path and threatening to rage quit!

Let me tell you why:
Love or hate activity feeds, but you have to admit that they work!
For a long time now I've watched members of dA spend more and more time on sites with activity feeds, and many even claim they get better exposure there. Why not get with the times and do what is working on other social media sites to help get this community interacting and sharing art with one another again?

Why You Should Still Be Experimenting As we began our trek into the world of art most of us spent a decent amount of time experimenting to find our niche.More Like This
But for many artists, once they find their place and style they often stop listening for any other callings.
What Exactly do You Mean by "Experiment".
Trying new things - of course we should experiment and text our tools, that's one of the first steps to becoming an artist in learning what you're working with and how to use your resources and tools to produce the best outcome for your art. What this article is about however is going outside your style and technique.
Why Should You Experiment?
Experimenting is a crucial part of learning. It's also a giant piece of expanding, improving and adding to what you already have. Imagine if the first thing you created was all you ever did. I'd be taking photo after photo of the sunrise: two problems with that are I'm not a mining person

Meet our Anime and Manga Community Volunteer,
1. Please introduce yourself, what are your interests?
Hello! My name is Ellen, but I'm mostly known on dA as Gwen, due to my username. I'm 19 years old, and I'm from Brazil. I've been hanging around this community for over five years, and though I've had my interest on art sparkle way before I joined here, it grew and became a permanent interest thanks to this community. I'm particularly fond of traditional art, of all sorts (though I adore digital medi as well) and all things pretty. I also owe to dA most of my english learning, as well my online friendships and my lovely boyfriend namenotrequired. This community is sort of, part of me now.
Besides art, I'm also extremely addicted to videogames (specially RPGs) and fantasy books. A fun fact, it was also from a videogame where my username, and consequently my nickname, came from - a game called Odin Sphere.

Asexuality is a sexual orientation where a person does not experience sexual attraction. The purpose of this journal though is a little broader than asexuality and, as the title has clued you in, is noting that many of us have our own sexuality; don't assign someone else yours.
In January, I posted Asexuality: I am louder than who I say I am, a journal to raise awareness to issues surrounding knowledge and confusion related to asexuality. I brought up asexual stigma, what asexuality is defined as and that misconceptions and not caring to know of a sexual orientation is in and of itself, damaging. The comments reflected their support of awareness and showed a healthy, strong,

I'll start saying that I spend most of my childhood getting only little encouragement.
My parents were, like many other parents, convinced that art wasn't that much of a useful skill since it's nearly impossible to earn money with -- and would've liked it if I spend my time doing something more useful instead. At school I was that pathetic kid without friends. Creative, yet very introverted. The one that gets bullied in the schoolyard. Needless to say; it was rare to find people saying something nice about me, and it was even more rare to find someone actually encouraging me.
Back then, I used to believe that I was alone. I initially signed up to DeviantArt to find people with similar interests. But it happened to change my mind along the way. When I came into contact with other artists, I came to realize that there were in fact many people just like me. People th
