RainboyAndrew liked the rain, he really did. The rest of the town despaired, the lack of sunlight, the never-ending wetness, the mud, the floodings. But Andrew loved the smell, the pleasant coolness, the constant pitter-patter of raindrops on the ground. Whenever it rained, he felt at peace.

Little did he know, his peace would soon change.
He walked home from school slowly one afternoon, simply enjoying the water dripping from his hair, into his eyes. It was because of the water in his eyes that he thought he had imagined it. Drops fell into a puddle, and as it grew (abnormally fast), a head poked out of the water. following the head, a pair of narrow shoulders, slender arms, a bare torso, and bony legs. And a boy pulled himself out of the impossibly shallow puddle. Andrew rubbed his eyes. The boy stared back. "Hello," he said.
