I'm so bad at these comic strip things, but I'm trying one more time to see if I can succeed just a little in making one xD Gangnam Style kept me going! Thank you Psy for keeping me awake. Ahh, this was a really good practice for me. I know it's probably not the best way to practice, but at least I'm drawing... (- instead of sleeping or doing homework ) I tried out a lot of things here. Might not seem like it, but when you're only used to drawing a persons face and only in one particular way - while being a tard when it comes to drawing manga - this really took all the creativity I had left in me xD The ninth panel is fucked up

So, I'd just watched Soul Eater's first episode and before I knew, I was drawing this. I know, I need a life

Soul's Scythe is drawn a bit differently from the full version of the refference. I had to rely upon a whole different reference picture for the scythe, because I just couldn't find the full version of the one I was using; I declared to myself that it did not exist. he fights with his other senses instead of eyes. His personality is like a mix of Soul and Kid. but he has great patience! a calm and cool mind. but he knows his parents well and can freak out if he did not feel adequate. he has little personality cleavage.

Okay, not only the Soul Eater tag on tumblr was a battlefield yesterday, so all of my skype convos were one too. XD This idea is by *Vi3009 so it was only an illusion because of the madness. I needed to draw it… TTwTT

So anyway

[SPOILER] chapter 108 of the Soul Eater manga reveals that Kid and Asura are brothers. Personally, I find this reveal very underwhelming. It has very little affect on the present plot and only just makes Asura's life shittier (and his life was always shitty in the first place). This reveal is very underwhelming compared to the reveal with Justin.

Also I just feel pretty indifferent to it too. I think I would have preferred it if Asura wasn't related to Kid and Shinigami-sama, cause then it makes the order vs. chaos and the whole order creates chaos thing more deep and meaningful. [END SPOILER]

On the non-spoiler-y side, god I really suck at drawing Kid. I've been told that I draw him really well and I don't see it. I just see all of my flaws and poorly drawn lines.
