This was an experiment of mine to try and make Princess Luna (best Princess) in the Equestria girls style. I think It's a success. My style choice is base off of two factors. One, I wanted to draw her and have her crown and cutie mark look apropiate. second I wanted to draw her in Party dress.
SO EXTREMELY HAPPY I CAN FINALLY SUBMIT THIS AHHHHH I was waiting for a response for a group app and I didn't want to risk it (last time I posted something good before they replied they rejected me)
ANYWHO This has been about 2-3 weeks of hard work on and off due to school plays and tons of homework and projects. The back walls were fun to do especially the columns but the floor was tedious and annoyed me almost the whole way though. I really love how I turned out. I had fun playing and messing with the different fillies here. There's 16 in total, all back ground characters and of course some of the might be more recognizable than others but I chose what I could find off of the MLP Wiki and chose a few that I liked in terms of design and colours. Oh and I really love Carrot Top. Her mane has been the most fun thing ever to paint.
Now of course Lyra would be teaching the others how to stand on their hind legs--she was probably the first to learn in town!
UPDATE: Do you want such a portrait of YOUR own OC? For 20 USD you will receive a portrait in the same style, but with your character's special looks, palette and personality Send a note with a character ref and your wishes and you will receive your portrait within 48 hours^^
Hi everybody^^ We are all very MLP-crazy in my home, so couldnt help drawing dear Fluttershy^^
She's the only Ponibot nexistence that runs on the principles of steampunk. Most of the energy required to keep her running is provided by the crystals in her ears. She's also mostly mechanical, excluding the quantim computer and some processors.
Fluttershy's flute-playing is second only to her singing. Her soft and delicate nature brings out the graceful tones of the flute. Birds can't help but flock to her song whenever she plays. Truly an excellent pony-instrument pairing.
(All the text it’s narrated by Big Mac.) “I Remember FINALE” The third and final installment in "I Remember Comic", and accept it, none of you expected and ending like that when you read "I Remember" part 1 and 2. In this part everything is totally explained, and Big Mac is visiting FlutterShy... not in her house. The FlutterXMac couple is based in the fandom and the story is based on a song called "Recuerdo" by Vico C. You can listen to it here: [link]
Ponies featured in this comic (In all the three parts.): Big Macintosh, Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, Fleur De Lis, AppleJack, Ynop Sn0w, Pinkie Pie, Celestia, Rainbow Dash, Lyra, Bon Bon, 2 OC Background Ponies, Vinyl Scratch, Tutti Frutti and Rarity. (16 ponies!.)
Done in Photoshop CS4 and CS5 in about 22 hours of work, mostly with a Bamboo CTL-470 tablet.
AND NOW!!! I have to put this warning here due of the "Ideologically Sensitive" theme in the image: Yes, the comic has a very bad and sad ending, I know that. This was a very entertaining project and it's not my intention to offend anybody with "killing" Fluttershy in it so PLEASE!! please, please, please, I beg you in my knees DO NOT post offensive, hate, irrational comments etc like: "You killed Fluttershy, I hate you, you bastard!!" or "This comic sucks!" or "My Little Pony sucks and you too" or "Lol this is so emo, you are all gay"
If you post a comment like one of those I will block you and will hide your commentary, if the comments keep being just to troll and hate me I will disable the comments in this deviation. I only accept constructive, normal, tolerable and love comments, that's what about the brony community is.
Do I have some grammatical errors or mistakes? Let me know in the comments!
I've been toying with the idea of doing some MLP comics, and been dithering back and forth between doing standalone joke-based stuff or a more narrative-based series. This, anyway, is the result, which lays the groundwork for what could be expanded into an ongoing story if I decide to do so.
By the way, as this has come up several times in the comments, Twilight already having her cutie mark is consistent with the show - she earned it during the entrance exam that got her into Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, as depicted in "The Cutie Mark Chronicles", not on her first day.
Update: This comic has become far and away my most-viewed piece to date. Thanks to KeinZantezuken for posting it on his/her Tumblr, leading to it being reblogged in numerous other places including the popular Ask the Crusaders Tumblr which kicked off the first major rush of views, and to Equestria Daily for featuring it in one of their regular comic posts. Within a couple more hours it really exploded, popping up on Reddit, Funnyjunk, and even reaching fourth position in deviantART's "most popular in the last 24 hours" listing at one point (and #1 in the fan art section)! The power of filly Twilight is mighty! Seriously, thanks to everyone who helped draw so much attention to this comic.
>>> MINOR EDIT: Partly inspired by my friend , I made a slight edit and added in something I originally planned to be in this piece, but I cut out because of a computer crash and lost data and motivation. Notice it and get $20. <<<
A small picture I drew out of boredom. This was born out of a sketch I did between classes on Wednesday, and I thought it would be fun to do real quick. Plus, I need to start doing more real backgrounds, rather than just generic paint splats and gradients.
Idea i had was Fluttershy spending some time with nature, and I like the result I suppose! I really enjoyed drawing her mane. One of my favorite things to do are manes, after all, especially when the character has a diffrent mane style than usual. I imagine Rarity obvously loving to do her hair the most, and Fluttershy strikes me as the 2nd most, I suppose, traditionally "girly"? I figure she would like stuff like that too.
For all the picking on her I do, it's funny how much I actually draw Fluttershy, lol. She's just fun to color and draw I guess.
Not much more to say about this one! I hope you all like it, and I think I'll try and do another comic next! I need to come up with an idea though.
But regardless, i hope you all like this! More art soon!
So I was mowing my yard back in April (2012) when I saw a little black and orange jumping spider trying to get to safety. Naturally, I stopped the mower and helped the poor little guy get to the tall grass where I wouldn't be mowing. For reasons I still can't figure out, this simple action got me thinking about Fluttershy. One thought lead to another, my creativity took over, and this scene was formed in my mind. I drew and inked it in about two days, then left it alone until the second of November, when I painted it in one day.
As for the scenario of Fluttershy meeting a buck while gathering purple flowers in Whitetail Wood, or what she did to offend him; I'll leave the details up to speculation.
Doc Martin's colored inks and watercolor on rough surface paper. Painted in November/2012
This episode was SO EPIC. So many brony influences but I don't mind. They mixed those in the episode very nicely. Sorry for not being online lately! My teachers are being meany-pies. Will post a journal with more details...
I guess you can call this mixed media. Drawn with a pen and edited to look more...contrasty... As always I hope you like it, dears!
I actually don't have much else to say about this. Well, my dad walked in while I was working on this and he got offended because he thought I was drawing a more overweight version of him. This makes me really happy, though, because my brother and I have been trying to convince our dad that he REALLY looks like Gabe Newell for the longest time, but he never believed it until now. I wish I could show you guys a good photo, but the only photo I can find right now is this photo of my family standing really somberly around a birthday cake.
So I recently got into Team Fortress 2 and I must say, THAT GAME IS SO MUCH FUN AAAHHHH. Anyway, I figured I might as well try making some fanart or something.
I'm pretty pleased with the way this turned out, overall, though I think the colors and shadows could use some work in some places. I tried experimenting with environmental depth-y stuff here, and I rather like the results. Backgrounds are something I still struggle with, so this felt like a pretty successful venture into things that fall outside my comfort zone.
Anyway I wanted to draw something with the Medic, since that's the class I normally play. I know that running after a Scout with a basic Medi-gun at the start of a campaign isn't the best strategy, but my brother plays as the Scout most of the time, which is why I decided to include the Scout as well.
