I can't wait to see all the beautiful yukata!
In completely unrelated news, I went to the bank yesterday to get a new debit card, and before I knew it, the bank teller was showing me a complete list of people who shared my name so I could pick out which one is me. The list showed all of their address and social security number.
WTF, bank?! If I were a criminal, I could have memorized some poor victim's info and gotten a new debit card to their account instead and stolen all of their money. I will never feel safe again ._.

“Well… didn’t think I’d be coming back here again.”
I glanced around the town of my adolescence. It seemed like nothing had changed in a major way; people were still walking the streets and calling out greetings to each other, restaurant signs still stood on the corners and flashed obnoxious neon lights at passing cars, and buildings were clumped together in little groups. There were a few more buildings that had been constructed in my absence, but I hardly paid them any attention as I made my way through the crowded street. Honestly, I didn’t want to come back here. I hadn’t been back here in over ten years; I’d wanted to leave all of it behind me. Memories, both good and bad, flashed before my eyes and I quickly adjusted my shades so no one could see my eyes watering.
My youth… things had been much more simple when I was younger.

Was she dreaming?
Robyn felt her face turn a brilliant shade of scarlet as Chaos moved away from her ear. He had just confessed that he had a crush on her. Here she had been thinking that he had been talking about some other girl, and then he turned it around and admitted that he had been talking about her. Her mind seemed to be slowly processing his words.
Key word: slowly.
“Ch… Chaos… me…?” she finally stuttered.
The red hedgehog smiled. “You.”
The grey fox simply gaped at him. Chaos had to fight back a laugh; she looked like a goldfish with her mouth opening and closing. “I don’t know why you’re surprised, Robyn. I’ve liked you for a while now…”
“A WHILE? How long is ‘a while’?” Robyn asked.
Chaos looked up at the sky, pretending to calculate as he drew numbers in the air with his index finger. “One, two… seven… meh, a while.”

Tiff had never seen so much pie filling.
Cappy Town was completely covered in the stuff. King Dedede had ordered yet another monster, one that made pies in split seconds, and it had been firing the pies at everyone. Even Kirby was covered in it, which was unusual seeing how he had been gobbling up the king’s pies just a few minutes ago.
“Kirby! Where are you?” she heard Meta Knight call out.
She looked towards the barricade. Meta Knight was on top of the barricade, completely unscathed by the pie filling. He looked down to see Kirby sitting in an opening under all of the items. “Poyo…”
She frowned. The young girl crawled through the pie filling towards the star warrior. “Kirby! Suck it up!”
Kirby’s eyes widened and he covered his mouth as he jumped up and down. “Poy… poy… poyo, poyo!”
Tiff blinked. “You won’t fight it? But why not?”
