Finally submitting the sketches of Tex's new Blood Sport opponents, Strelok and Rik. <D This round is going to be rough, but should be fun. I got lots of surprises and twists for this entry. >:}

To sum up: Strelok is one nasty piece of work, a bounty hunter and mercenary for hire who was put into the B-S by accident. He's one of the Irken Empire's favorite propoganda tools and enjoys his fame--probably. It's hard to tell with the mask--actually it's unknown if Strelok is male or Female. He's known for being quite sadistic, often toying with his victims with torture before killing them off in decidedly gory fashions. He's also a good shot and has multiple weapons and a high-tech suit. He's got a few injuries here and there.

Rik is getting seriously tired of this competition, and just wants to be free of it to hook back up with his wife who was, unfortunately, also involved in Blood Sport. He carries a locket with a picture of his family in it, is handy with guns, and is nicknamed Quick Shot Rik and The Cowboy for his quick gun-slinging skills. He also has a Southern accent like Tex does.

Tex, meanwhile, is doing the best of the three, at least physically. He has no serious injuries other than cuts and bruises, since he used D12's pak to heal himself. The poncho part of his jacket is somewhat shredded, along with the hem of the coat which was ripped to make bandages. He's running low on supplies but certainly not energy-pulse ammo for his twin pistols.

Interesting juxtaposition of characters we got here. <|D All good with guns, all more than willing to kill what they have to to get out of this contest of the damned. That's a recipe for something deliciously nasty.

To *Irken-Risk and ~Gvozdi, if you want me to make changes to Strelok or Rik's designs, speak up, because the pages are being sketched soon. X)

Here, have some random crap. :'D Tried Fibra in a different style, up at the top. That style is super fun.

To explain that vortian ho there: I guess she's my newest OC? <|D You peeps may remember her from Ayule's little harem in this pic: [link] Rhealm decided to adopt the pink one and named her Iona, so I kept the magenta one and named her Lajou. Iona and Lajou and partners in the club they work at together, and they've become known as Lace and Leather. <|D *shot*

Ahem, moving on...

That Zeith screaming pears. Rhealm pointed out to me that Zeith's wife, Quiv, is very pear-shaped; big hips, small ribcage. Which I mentally pointed out to Zeith, so now he loves pears.

Tex and the spider-chick. Her name is Catherine. This was an iscribble collab with my buddy *Skarita who needs to get into RPing again. v v *NUDGE NUDGE* She and I did a couple tiny Role plays with Tex and Catherine. So far they've just been chatting about cultural differences over coffee at a cafe, but I'm sure they plan to try a heist together one of these days--if their suspicion of the other decreases enough.

DAT SCARRED FIBRA---is now gonna be canon for a while. v v ; He had a baadd run-in with Sadi, along with Zeith, Quiv, and Valn. Sadi ambushed them all together when they were least expecting it when the group was planet-side--Valn ended up bitten/ripped up in multiple places and shoved into a pool (he can't swim), Quiv got her leg broken, Fibra had his face shredded/slightly eaten, and Zeith was dragged off into the night. e_o;; And of course ambulances came along to take Quiv, Valn and Fibra to a hospital, where the hospital staff looked up Fibra and Valn's records and went "HEY You two are pirates and work for that guy Tex! D:< You're under arrest!"

So yeah. That went from bad to worse. <|D Fibra and Valn were moved to a high-security prison after some rough interrogation, in which the Enforcers learned enough to know how to track down Tex's ship, the Leviathan. Tex and the gang had to do a very careful rescue of Valn and Fibra (involving Tex disguising himself as a German-accented Enforcer, which he actually pulled off quite well). Unfortunately, they had to act like they didn't know Quiv...otherwise she'd be dragged into the situation for questioning about knowing pirates, instead of being considered just a victim in the random attack. The event changed Quiv--she became rougher around the edges, impatient, started working out, all with the intent to get her husband back. Eventually she found Zeith on a forested planet, who was now a total mess of paranoia, hallucinations, and agoraphobia. Meanwhile, Tex and his gang had to go into hiding for a while to evade the Enforcers hunting around for them, Valn is paranoid and refuses to let Fibra out of his sight, and Fibra can't exactly talk or eat with a shredded/stitched face.

All your fault, Sadi. Definitely the biggest RP I've done in a long while.

..SO YUP. The scenery sketches are inspired from the Wii game Donkey Kong Country Returns. I'm sure that sounds boring after that story.

Commission for ~Jazoijua who asked for his Tarlerlion OC, Ava Krieger with ~CGIgal's little vortian gal, Mikah. I think of the Tarlerlions as upper class, prudish, and formal types of aliens. Mikah, being from the lower class, probably doesn't have as many reserves as Tarlerlions when it comes to social interactions. Fortunately, I think Ava is young and adaptable enough to break with her society's expectations and enjoy the company of someone different than her.

It was a cute thought anyway...<D

How absolute proud I am of this, and how much fun I had? ;-; because this piece sent me into one of those artistic trances where the hours slip away without you realizing where they went, but you don't care because you enjoyed doing every digital brush stroke, every loving little detail...

...COUGH so yeah. <|D; This piece was completely drawn to the song The Big Electron [link] By Melody Sheep. I listened to the song on repeat 67 times while working on this piece. I'm even proud enough to risk opening critiques. More about the pic, though...Fibra is a swimmer. He's never more comfortable than when he's swimming in water, enjoying that streamlined, weightless sensation, as oppose to the solid, forceful movements of working out on land. It's one of the few things that lessens his near-constant sour mood.

He got the chance to start swimming when he worked at a hospital, long before he was the medic on Tex's ship. The hospital had a pool, which was used by recovering or elderly patients to exercise weak limbs without straining themselves too much. Fibra tried out the pool and it didn't take long for it to become a sanctuary for him after closing hours, when he could be left to swim in peace.

Did a bunch of requests during my livestream yesterday: specifically, the eyes of peoples' OCs. :"D If you can recognize a couple/quite a few of them, good onya. I just wanted to practice coloring eyes BECAUSE THEY'RE FUN D8< and shiny. v v And to see how much emotion/personality I could convey through just someone's gaaaze.

OH MAN this was so fun to draw/color. :'D Even though I only drew it in the first place because I was amazingly bored during work and felt too self-conscious to draw Blood Sport pages, with so many people wandering around/potentially looking over my shoulder. Based on an RP with my buddy ~Gvozdi. We're RPing Strelok hanging around with my OC Sanavava. Sanavava isn't too scared of the dark mercenary (mainly because her father is the head of most of the planet's entire police force) and because he's never made degrading comments to her, flirted, or expressed an interest in killing her. Strelok finds her interesting, so lately he's been skulking along after her through daily activities. He's been to her house a few times (just for those delicious burrito-pancakes she makes, of course) and, naturally, met Sana's pet blob thing, Myla.

Myla disturbs him immensely.

It's pretty hilarious.

She'll crawl over the sofa to go sniff at him and he'll shrink away to the other end of the sofa.
