Digital Painting Commission Info Terms of work & Copyright:More Like This
I only do birds and furry mammals.
For a realistic animal portrait commission, I will need a CLEAR shot & big sized reference photo. If the photo is small, long shoot and blurry, it will be rejected. If it's small but not blurry, or big but blurry, I might be able to use it to draw a sketch from it but not a painting. For a painting photo reference, I will need a photo with at least 1500 x 1500 pixel size with the model (pet) filling the view finder area. My advice is that clients should use a digital camera, not a phone camera, and if the pet is still alive, they should take a wide range of photos so that they can provide me with the best possible photo for the art reference. Photos are key to a pet portrait, the better quality the photo, the better the art result will be as I will be able to see everything more clearly.
I usually work on 3600x3600 pixels, 300dpi canvas size (printable up to 35" x 35" max).
It will take 1 to 3 weeks t
