Borrowed rant about lemonsFirst off, I used to write lemons and kinda liked writing them too and like reading them. This journal is not because I'm on the side of the person reporting the lemons.More Like This
Now here is the borrowed rant from Crowlita.
"Alright, normally I don't sit around writing journals, but I really feel like this needs to be said and clarified.
Very recently, I found a fanfiction that I enjoy immensely. It has multiple endings, and several of those endings are what fanfiction writers and readers refer to as "lemons." Basically, that means porn.
Anyway, the writer of this fanfiction, who I'm not going to state because calling them out on a journal is plain rude, posted one of the lemons as a moderate Mature Content, which is better than nothing, and it didn't get removed. That's cool. However, the next lemon they posted, apparently using the same MC setting, was removed. Now they're simply uploading little bits of text with links to the story elsewhere.
I don't mean to offend anyone, but there

We all have a story, and stories end. This is the end of a story.
I always needed time on my own
I never thought I'd, need you there when I cried
And the days feel like years when I'm alone
And the bed where you lie is made up on your side
He sat there in the chair crying as he looked at the room around him. Everything brought more tears to his eyes.
When you walk away I count the steps that you take
Do you see how much I need you right now
When you're gone the pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone the face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone the words I need to hear
To always get me through the day
And make it okay
I miss you
I've never felt this way before
Everything that I do, reminds me of you
And the clothes you left, they lie on the floor
And they smell just like you, I love the things that you do
He took his time getting out of the chair. Tears stinging at the corners of

Your fingers fumbled through all the different items and sighed. This was ridiculous… a stupid childish game, and you swore to yourself that if you picked Tony, you were going to kill him. Your hands suddenly locked around something small. Whatever it was, it would do… You sighed softly and retrieved your hand from the bag. What was that…? Your brows furrowed and you gently prodded the small black spider toy with your index finger. The small spider, which you had assumed to be a toy made an abrupt movement in your hand. You gasped and flicked your wrist, hoping to fling it from your hand. Everyone else in the room let out a gasp or surprised sound, or, in Clint’s case, a rather girly shriek, and backed away from the spider, which scampered away exceedingly quickly.
To say that you were shaken from that would have been an understatement,
Why Bother? A Moral Choice for Young ArtistsIn the wake of some truly disgusting activity in the gaming industry right now, I’ve been grappling with a moral dilemma concerning what I would recommend young artists do with their chosen career paths.More Like This
Phil Fish Hacked
Phil Fish, the creator of FEZ, is pretty much universally hated by people online. Recently he spoke out in favor of Zoe Quinn, creator of Depression Quest, who was herself under fire from internet thought police for “corrupting” games journalism’s integrity by sleeping with journalists to get favorable reviews of her game (allegations which later proved to be untrue). Because he spoke out in favor of Zoe Quinn, Phil found himself under a massive internet attack, wherein hackers compromised his SSI, passwords, Polytron's PayPal account, and other sensitive data.
In the wake of the attack, Phil Fish is now selling off the rights to FEZ and to Polytron. He left with this rather depressing twitter message: “I
A Word About TriggersMany of you who frequent Tumblr have at least heard of triggers, if you haven't had them shoved down your throat to the point of asphyxiation. I'd like to take this time, however, to talk about real triggers to raise awareness.More Like This
A trigger (also known as trauma trigger) is properly defined as something that reminds a person of a traumatic event. The trigger can be anything - a sound, a smell, an object, an image, a word - but it causes ranging levels of discomfort in a person, going anywhere between feeling discomfort internally/mentally (feeling a sinking feeling in your chest or a general worrying feeling) to a full-blown panic attack (where one has trouble breathing and may need professional help). Triggers can also cause relapses, which are when a person falls back into a previous behavior (such as self-harm, suicidal tendencies, etc).
A trigger is NOT something that causes mild annoyance, mild irritation, or mild anger, nor is it meant to be used frivolously. Triggers often go hand-
