I just wanted to say, if you ever feel like you're too old to go back or that you feel like your dream may be unattainable... do yourself a favor and go back to school.
Someone asked me why I went back to school and a lot of it had to do with how unhappy I was with my life. I had finally started to get over a break up that literally left me wrecked for a few years. I won't ask for sympathy on that as the relationship was a toxic one, and when the ex finally broke it off for the final time, it wouldn't be years later to finally realize what a favor he had done. I changed my tagline and I want you to know why.
In one of my favorite movies all time "Wizard of Oz" (the original one from 1939 with Judy Garland) the supposed "Wizard" says when Dorothy and her friends meet "the Great and Mighty Wizard of Oz" and Toto exposes him: "Don't mind the man behind the curtain."
I came to think about this line. Some things that seem magical and supernatural or just "too good to be true" or maybe even very bad might not be as they seem first.
Always have the brain, the heart and the courage (as Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion) to question those things. Don't believe everything because most people tell so. They might just tell you their point of view. Form your own opinion about it. Mind the man behind the curtain! And find the hidden truth.

I'm reading a fanfic of TheLonelySeeker and am quite blown away by her writing style. However, she said that she had some help with the rewrite from correct english in much better english.
While rereading my own stories I also notice that they may be grammatically correct, but not express what they should.
So I do not see it as cockiness when someone points out to me that my story should be revised. I gladly take every help I can get, as long as it's constructive and fair.
Have a nice weekend everybody
