Using batch file to switch Windows themesHey guys, so the other day a fellow user asked me what would be the easiest way to switch between themes while working or on a hurry. For those that don't know what this does:
Using batch file you can create a simple windows program that can be run just like any .exe file to change system settings, move and modify files and more. This one simply changes Windows theme to Aero, but unless something big changed in Windows 8 and further in system resources then this should also work with default 8 themes if you change location and name.
This file simply changes your current theme to default windows classic. If it can't apply it, it will try to apply aero theme instead. Change the location to your custom themes with text editor and that's it. As far as I can tell you don't need to run it as admin but doing it won't hurt either. I am also working
