This young lady is the newest addition to this wonderful ZOO, who has a tiger again after a pause!

So yeah, I didn't feel my "Strapped in" sketch [link] really did it for me. It wasn't how I wanted the piece to look. After finishing it yesterday I suddenly realised how I wanted it. So tonight I did a brand new one based on that idea. In my opinion it turned out so much better and it's such a great feeling to finally be happy with the result. Hope you like it too. I wanted to record it, but that didn't cross my mind until half way in... so it wasn't to be. Maybe next time I'll remember!

In love and war...

I recently watched the 5th episode of The Runaway Guys let's play on New Super Mario Bros. U (here is the episode [link]) and its because of that episode I drew this. Chugga said in the video, he could imagine himself with a ton of 1-Up Mushrooms because of his greed for them and he was in a dark room with little lighting (or he said something like that). Then you can hear Tim in the background saying, "Well theres your fan art." So, I decide to make the fan art XD

It took a while for me to decide what expression for Chugga to have, and it definatley took a while to get all those mushrooms in

Here is the second part. It pains me to see this come down to this. It surprised me too when I wrote this part. I was pissed.

About 10 meters from me, hidden behind another crumbled wall……..Xin’Vauk and Kai’Faan. They looked to be hunkered down while Kai’Faan was pointing further to the west. Just 50 meters away from their position was one last Tau ship……or at least I think it was. Almost completely cloaked, I could see a door opened while another Tau scientist waved a hand in frustration, trying to wave them in. Why didn’t they make it yet?

It looked like Kai’Faan was too injured to move on his own. And Xin looked worn out…..probably from assisting his weak body the entire time. They only had less than 50 meters to go!!!! The bag of plant samples and data, clutched tightly in Kai’s hand seemed intact.

Why didn't she go when there was a chance?

DAMMIT!! Then I realized the strength she drew from me was probably her downfall. Our hidden bond was probably the reason why she waited. Just as she could detect her leader earlier with the same bond, she probably felt my presence moving closer, and held on for my arrival. This was not the time to wait. She could have been safe, but she waited.

“RANDALL!!!!!” Her voice: both paradise and poison. I put my finger up to my mouth to keep her quite.

DAMMIT!!!! Randall, what have you done? Both troopers and ork are headed in this direction, putting the last of the Tau and the plant samples in danger. Why couldn’t you just keep your stupid mind in check and left the area completely? You lead everybody right to them. My heart sank.

It didn’t help the fact that looking back at her, she was desperately reaching for me, while Kai’Faan kept her in check. Luckily, the sounds of ork guns and human lasrifles grew louder, because her cries of agony tore my heart to pieces. The open gap between us was ONLY 10 meters. I could easily dash to her and hold her again.

I knew why the Inquisitor wanted me. He needed Xin’Vauk back in his clutches, and the invisible bond Xin and I share was the only way he could get to her. He has no way of tracking her down. But now, I lead him right to her. I cannot believe this.

I fired a few rounds of red hot energy back at the troopers to slow them down. They got into cover, but it would only buy me a few extra moments……I have to think fast.

1) I can get to both Kai’Faan and Xin’Vauk, exposing myself for a few seconds. This way I can help Kai’Faan get up and we all make a break for it. Kai can probably move a little better since Xin is worn thin of resolve and I have more strength right now to get him moving. I could escape with the Tau from this planet. The troopers don’t seem to know that Xin and Kai are hiding close to me. But when I make a break for them and begin to run WITH them towards the waiting ship, I will expose everybody within gunshots and visual range. Not to mention there is a hidden sniper somewhere. The Inquisition will find the target they had been looking for the whole time.

2) I will put my own needs behind me, and instead of moving to the right into their direction, I will do something that will take every bit of courage and drive in my soul. I…..will move right….away from Xin and Kai. Distracting all troops and orks from the hidden Tau, and continue moving away until Xin and Kai are distant from ANY immediate danger. If I do this, I will surely not make it since I only have about a city block of cover before I hit open area. But, Xin’Vauk will be safe, as well as the plant samples. Maybe this is what it means to follow the Greater Good. Sacrifice one for the benefit of millions.

After seeing around so many beautifull fishes painted in resin I decided to do my own and go beyond with a mermaid.
My first "big" project with resin and Acrylics, it has been much more difficult and took more time than what I expected , but still I hope you like it the final result!

We're aware of other print on demand places, but the problem is they're actually super expensive per unit with shipping, so we're considering other printing methods, but they're all super duper expensive or have large print runs so we have to choose carefully. We'll let everyone know as soon as we get this worked out!

This turned into a quickie, decided to abandon it as the critter needs a redesign to fit the aesthetic a little better.

I have been searching for a surreal Cathedral which would make Gaudí purple of envy, and this weekend I got pretty close I think…
