Velair Shepard sits on a stool next to her mother as she works on one of the various dishes for the evening's feast. Nearby, Miranda and Oriana Lawson works on dishes of their own with Ayrene. Zaeed Massani works on cooking two large birds, one turkey and one alien bird, while Wrex watches from the doorway to the backyard, little Syren in his arms. Liara looks down at her daughter and smiles, "No sweetie. I think I've got this under control. You want to help your dad get things ready in the dining room?"
Rinyn Shepard appears in the doorway, leading to the dining room, her biotics keeping several containers aloft. "Mommy. Uncle Garrus dropped off the dextro-amino food, and said he'll be back once he picks up Aunt Chloe and Gabriel."
Liara motions with the large metal spoon in her hand to a stretch of open countertop, "Just put them there sweetheart, thank you."

In the aftermath of the attack in Paris that claimed the lives of several people, including several cartoon artists, the world is basically flooding with support messages for the victims and their families, and people everywhere are now plastering "Je suis Charlie" (I am Charlie) messages everywhere.
