Ok, so might have been bored. and I might have had some failed attempt at fractals. A fractal or so never quite turned into a complete one, yet had many interesting variations. So i saw a wing piece here..and something like a tail there...and maybe a claw or a horn in this. And here we are, all combined, mostly the complete fractals resized and turned and put together to form a dragon.
yet stil i am somehow not happy about it, but well, it was a good try
I decided to revisit this fractal to see what else I could come up with. I also learned a very valuable lesson with this. Last night I was toying around with various settings and decided to reset my flames. Unfortunately, I lost the original that really stunned me. So, before you mess with settings, make certain that you have saved your params first or back them up on a document.
I came up with this title since it almost seems like each of the "petals" has little bouquets of flowers within them. The colors took a little while to come up with, but overall I think this is an awesome advancement from the original and it is still due to incredible fractal pack. I am amazed what I can do with these and I really look forward to making more from some of the icons/ mentors here in the fractal community!!
*****************EDIT**************** My first ever Daily Deviation!! I am honored and humbled by this accolade and want to thank for recommending this and for featuring this fractal. I was hitting a point where I seriously debated about remaining active within the DA community and with this honor I will definitely recommit to my artwork. Thank you for all of the faves, comments, and support. Words can't begin to express how grateful I am.
Worked on this a half hour here, hour there off and on this week when I was taking a break from my design project and DA duties. It started with the flower and I knew I was in trouble. After this one, I've completely given up on making a realistic flower. As you can see, this is trademark Aeires.
When I saw I had a flower on my hands, I remembered making Remember Me last winter so I went in that direction again. It's been cold lately so winter seemed to fit the mood I've been in. Originally this was going to be a totally different color but I thought limiting myself to white and shades of blue would give it a better ice feel. Next time I promise to use a very wide spectrum of colors, this one about killed me trying to keep it all together without being boring.

I had noticed lately that a lot of my apophysis work was more a collection of techniques, rather than pieces of art, and while I have been learning the program... diligently... I have only recently begun thinking of it as I would a program like ultrafractal. I really do work in a layered mindset, and now that I have the hang of apophysis, I can really get my hands dirty. This particular piece was created with 2 different flames put together in ps.
Ah, finally the final result of something that got stuck in the corner of my files for months until I decided to finish it. And by finish it I mean practically redo the whole thing lol. I scraped everything I had minus the horse and background and made a bunch of changes to eventually come up with this. I have spent so much time on this the last many nights but still not 100% happy with it but I definitely feel like it's an improvement on previous efforts. So, as always comments and critique are wanted so I know what I did right and what I can improve upon
BRAVE: Stories Untold SUBSCRIBE FOR BRAVE VIDEOS!!!!!!!!!! =3 Cosplayer: Costume by me Photo by This is a long-awaited costume. I was BRAVE ENOUGH to make the dress myself! THE DRESS is a real copy of the feature film dress! It is silk, embroidered by myself (6 meters all in all!). The blue color is just stunning. I have a corset also made by myself. There is a white under-dress. The blue dress is tight (except for the sleeves). I like the final result a lot. And thanks to my mum the leght is correct and the sleeves are just fine. THE WIG is made by myself. You might have recognized the curls, but it's an absolutely different wig: I made it from two wigs. It took a day to finish for a cosplay convention. I like the color extremely! THE BOW AND ARROWS are made by my friend Michiru and me. He made the wooden pattern...and broke it while testing it! So he had to make a new one. That's why one can't actually use it for shooting. Then he used the paint which didn't fit, so I had to "investigate" every other shop of our town to find the appropriate one, hours of remake and here is my bow))) I colored the bow and every its detail. THE SHOES are bought. But I had to cut off all the precious details to match the simple dancing shoes of the princess. THE PHOTO-SHOOT PLACE is a Ukrainian medieval castle in Kamianets-Podolskyi. I had to travel all the way from Russia and it’s worth every km and every penny spent.
