You had just finished another grueling long day of work, even though you were quite tired, you actually wanted to go the nearest bar. It was the best way to forget about all of the day's worries; not that you were the type to dwell on the past for long. You inhaled in the cool night air as you walked, stuffing your hands into your pockets. Cold nights were always the worst to be alone on, just once you would have liked to have someone to cuddle up next to on the couch. But you weren't having much luck in that department.
Coming upon the closest bar, removed a hand from your pocket and opened the door. Your nose was hit with the strong sent of beer and classic bar food. You walked in, unzipping your jacket as you walked up to the bar table.
"What can I get you?" the bartender asked, cleaning a glass.
You stared at her for a moment, thinking about it. "Gin and tonic." You replied, not really caring that it wasn't that fancy of a drink.
The bartender nodded, walking off to get your drink.
Canada x Reader: Time"[Name], I need you to meet someone." Your cousin said after walking in through the front door with a smaller figure next to him. You slipped a bookmark into the magazine you were reading and set it on a nearby coffee table as you slid your feet off the futon. Curiously, you looked up at your cousin as you walked toward him.More Like This
Since you lived with your cousin, it wasn't unusual for him to walk into your house because he owned the place after all. He took you in after both your parents died two years ago when you were about eleven years old. Since then, it had always been the two of you living together. However, this was the first time he had such a calm yet urgent tone when bringing over a guest.
"What is it?" You asked him and turned your attention to the Canadian boy next to him. He was about your age with long brownish blond hair and pale skin. His sad blue eyes were downcast but looked blank as he stared at the ground. You noticed he was wearing a coat that was several sizes too big

So many cats!!!
Big cats, tiny cats. Every color possible.
How to choose? Frowning you scanned the room. You wanted a cat that wasn't very well liked by the others. One that you could shower with affection.
A large gray brown cat sat off to the side. The other cats skirted around it.
"Can I have that guy?" You squeaked pointing towards him.
Elizabeta looked surprised, "You sure? Nobody really likes that cat. Sometimes people do adopt him, but they always bring him back."
You felt your heart throb in sympathy. You had to have that cat. "I am one hundred percent sure!!"
Shrugging she hefted the large cat into an over sized carrier and handed you a stack of papers.
After signing and paying the adoption fee you loaded the cat into the passenger seat of your car.
"Soooooooo." You made a right turn out of the parking lot
"What to call you.." You looked over at him. The cat had a rather large nose and purple eyes. Too cut
