On the other hand, she had once seen her then-neighbor scrub down his entire house after finding a single dead bee on his windowsill. This house was a lot bigger than that one had been. If he started deep-cleaning this one, he might get done sometime next decade, and she could not do that to him. She grabbed a stack of cleaning rags out of the scullery and mopped up the mess. Most of it. Ruthlessly.
