- I did the layouts, then finished Aang and Naga, while comfort did the finishes on Korra and Appa. Diagonals!
This was a lot of fun. We're both huge Avatar fans, and we loved the bejeezus out of the Korra series. From the moment that belly-shirted little girl burst through the wall screaming "I'm the Avatar! You gotta deal with it!" I knew I was going to love her.
I really enjoyed getting to do the adult Aang, here. Tried to keep some feeling of the little boy he was, the shape of his head, the large eyes, the overall boyishness. I figure he grew up, but he never quite stopped being that silly boy he was. After all, look at his mentor at the Air Temple - that dude was a serious goof! Aang probably grew up to be a similar kind of guy. That's my thinking, anyway.
