Dollhouse Miniature in 1:12 Scale Handcrafted from Polymer Clay

Let's see....we have a couple of apples, sweet potato, (not ripe) banana, mango, pepper, canteloupe, pear and lettuce head.

I worked on these over the course of several days, not really keeping track of the hours logged. The canteloupe creeps me out a bit for some reason (maybe because the seeds remind me of teeth).

Materials used:

-FIMO and Sculpey brands of polymer clay
-Colored chalk pastels
-J.W.etc. Clear Varnish
-The little basket was purchased from ebay

Made out of polymer clay Fimo soft

1:12 Scale bubble tea, made from acrylics and resin. Tapioca pearls and straws made from polymer clay. Glasses were bought online.

I've had people asking me to make these for a while now, so I finally decided to give it a try. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be - the little tapioca pearls at the bottom showed through well when I thought they'd be lost. I was able to find a way to make realistic enough looking ice for the top. The only thing that gave me trouble were the straws. I had to find a way to make them in scale as well as being hollow. Took a few tries but I got it.

Polymer clay cake slices made to match the original 6 collector My Little Ponies! Butterscotch, Blue Belle, Minty, Snuzzle, Cotton Candy and Blossom

All the donuts are unique. I'm trying to create a new wider variety, like my cupcake collection. I also made the wooden display and painted it with Laura Ashley 'duck egg' paint. So far I have 18 unique donuts.

Wellllll..... as many of you may know, I started ~college~ a few months ago and the Spring semester is now over! I have decided to NOT take summer classes in order to relax a little (and keep my sanity intact).

So to jump start my miniature-filled summer I made some candies! Here you can see some Chocolate-Peanut-Squares and some Candy Orange Slices!

Everything is 100% handmade by me with polymer clay in 1:12 scale, as always!

Yes, I made each tiny little macaroni by hand, and it didn't take as long as you'd think it would. I also had to make a big pot of this for dinner since it gave me a giant craving. lol

I painted it with acrylic blue paint, and later aged it (not so sure if it does look like that )

Look I'm making fruit!! This has (unfortunately) been the most frustrating piece I've ever made; mostly because arranging the actual stuff was ridiculously tricky and once one thing got moved everything went with it. -_-

And this is just a work in progress! I have attempted to make some of the fruits that you wonderful people suggested to me - but since I haven't made most of them before it's requiring one or two attempts.

But, have a WIP for now.

I've been meaning to do this tutorial for a while, yesterday I was in a tutorial making mood and I just did it. No fancy editing, props, effects or nothing... I figured that making the tutorial and teaching is more important than making it pretty. So thereeeee learn how to make super pretty frosting XD If you notice, the way I do it is really quick and easy. If you have any questions about this tutorial or tutorial requests let me know I want to make more video tutorials like this. I also took photos for another tutorial yesterday, cookies anyone?

Also, I'm still super self-concious about talking in English, so I pushed myself to do it. I can practice reading, listening and writing in English but I never get to talk in English... ever... so I could use the practice. I think that my pronounciation is a bit awkward sometimes and I have an accent, I hope you can understand me and thank you for your patience I also have a few grammar mistakes, I didn't use a script or anything so I actually expected it (they're nothing serious, I hope).

This is the perfect cake for Spring birthday celebrations! Delicious layers of light sponge cake in ombré colours sandwiched together with white vanilla frosting. The whole cake is covered in mint green sugar fondant and topped with matching candles, pretty icing and bespoke butterflies.

I made the butterflies using a skinner blend and added a small diamanté for the head.

Hands up everyone who just had noodles (or 麵) for lunch!

Miniature plate and noodles handsculpted by me, for collaboration with Dragon Nest. This is unfinished, we got to have some gravy and meat on them noodles!

It was backbreaking work rolling out the noodles to the same thinness through out, but pretty fun arranging them on the plate.

I want to make a million of these earrings and wear them everyday! I just found these photos, the earrings were part of a rainbow commission but they're so adorable that they deserve a post on their own. They are really really really small, like 1 cm tall (about 0.4") and they were quite difficult to do because of the size T_T each layer is barely over 1 mm. I would like to make more, I learned a lot with them and next time I'm sure the texture will come out better (it's a bit scratchy for my current standars).

Technical stuff: All handmade with polymer clay with the techniques and materials explained in my polymer clay cake tutorial. Glued to hypoallergenic 100% titanium studs. No molds, pre-mades or bought pieces were used, it's 100% handmade by me.

Oh my, aren't chicken fingers simply delicious?
The miniature version is definitely quicker to make and lower in calories.. well at least I guess so, my dolls never, ever, gain a pound..
Ps. the weird, yellowish shapeless glob was supposed to look like mashed potatoes feel free to laugh at me is mayonnaise. It was originally meant to look like mayonnaise and I successfully reproduced it, rather accurately I may add. Not that I want to brag or anything.*

1:12 Dollhouse scale apples, made from polymer clay.

These were my first attempt at apples that I took to the Boca show. They were made from a cane, so if they're cut open they'll look like real apple slices.

Need to tweak the colors a bit on a couple of them, but that'll come with practice. I plan on making some peeled apples next.
